Senggyen, age 80, gives a general introduction to his resident area and also to the three main parts of Golok: Tö (Upper) Wangchen Bum, Bar (Middle) Akyong Bum, Mé (Lower) Pema Bum, and their lands as well as their descendants. He particularly emphasizes the  origins of the name Akyong and how its spelling has changed over time. He explains that the region of Akyong is bird-shaped. To justify his statement, he points out every region with his finger. In addition, he shares background on the local valleys, forests, rivers, monastery, and their traditions, and lists the modern districts that include historical Akyong regions.
