Having erected the rope swing, Apa Tani villagers are filmed playing during the Mloko festival in Hang village. At certain points, more than one person grabs onto the swing and then releases, consequently propelling the remaining swing users higher and further than expected. It appears to be quite a dangerous game, although Haimendorf did not document any incidence of injuries resulting from the festivities.
