Sharing riddles has been a long standing tradition. They were shared in the local language and each region of the country had their own name to refer to riddles. The East called it "Drab Drab Khab Khab", the West called it "Khartam" and the South called it "Ghaw Khani Khagta". People made bets among themselves to own a fortress each time the other person failed to guess the answer to the riddle. Jumchum shares riddles with Yangzom from Bongo Gewog (county) in Chukha district. However, Yangzom does not fail to give the right answer which stops Jumchum from owning any fortresses.
