The so-called “boedra-rigsar” musical genre emerged after the birth of Bhutanese pop music (rigsar). Boedra-rigsar is a combination of folk music, electronic instrumentation, and fast rhythms. It is quickly gaining popularity. In this video, Dorji sings a version of a boedra-rigsar song that is slightly different from the original.
