Phuntshog Sangag Cholling Temple in upper Langchen Phug village in Samdrupjongkhar district was constructed in 2011 with the guidance of Lama Tenpa Gyeltshen. Counting on the approval from the previous government and the support from Home Minister Minjur Dorji, Lama Tenpa Gyeltshen donated huge amounts of funds, initiating the construction work. At this point in time, the temple's outer structure is completed, but the temple contains only two small statues of Guru Rinpoche, and a relic of the Buddha. More sponsors are being sought to help fill the temple with statues.
