Tshampa Samten sang the song Sharchog Gungthang Lam. It is a popular Zhungdra song widely known all over Bhutan. Today few elderly people sing the song, whereas youth today tend to find the song difficult in both lyrics melody. The lyrics of the song describe a mountain called 'Gungthang la' in Tibet. The mountain is personified as a person, saying he is the golden stupa on the mountain. Hence, he praises himself for being a sacred stupa.
