The arrow song is describing the arrow and glorifying it through the use of metaphors. An arrow plant is believed to be grown in Tsari community in Tibet. This place is considered sacred; hence the arrow should be too. According to the verses of the song, the arrow plant was grown in Tsari Ney, used by the young men, who use the feather of a vulture that flies up in the sky and glorifies the arrow. At the end of the song, the arrow announces that he is a sacred object that is kept at the altar and makes offerings. Therefore, it is a self-praising song revealing the arrow’s sacredness and power.
