Singye Zangmo from Dungkar Gewog (county) in Lhuntse Dzongkhag (district), sings an old Boedra song called "So Ladi Gaykar". The verses of the song describe materials used to prepare local tea as an offering to spiritual masters and high ranking officials. According to the lyrics, the wood used to make a fire has to be sacred rhododendron primulae florum bur (Balu) and sulu (incense plant). The tea has to be prepared in a golden and silver pot with holy water, special tea leaves, butter, salt, etc. The offering is made mainly to receive blessings from spiritual masters and to receive council from high ranking officials.
