Dema from Wangphu village in Samdrup Jongkhar was milking a cow by hand. First the calf is allowed to suck on the colostrum a few minutes before milking. She washed her hands before milking. The hind legs of the milking cow needed to be tied by a short rope. The teats between the fingers are squeezed to draw out milk to be collected.
