Video Overview

Men cooking and eating in the fields. "At about 3 pm, nearly the whole field was reaped and the first loads of rice were carried to the village. We had a good meal of boiled rice and fresh vegetables together with a tiny piece of duck. There were also raw cucumbers to eat. The men also boiled tea leaves, and the bitter drink was certainly refreshing. (From the field notes of Christoph von Furer-Haimendorf, Date: 1970-08-29)
