Khenpo Kelden Tsering of Dege describes the stages of his monastic education. He discusses in detail the subjects he has studied at each stage of his life, as well as his teachers, at each monastery and school – from his basic education in Degé, to his studies of religion and grammar in Dzongsar, to his studies of specialized subjects at the Mentsikhang in Lhasa, to his more recent studies in the newly established advanced rabjampa class at the Tibet Autonomous Region High School in Beijing.
