Kabi from Guyum in Pemagatshel Dzongkhag (district) recites a short Khoray of his own creation that expresses his frustration about growing old without practicing dharma. In literature, "khoray" is an exclamatory word that expresses frustration. In some parts of eastern Bhutan a song is called a Khoray when it expresses frustration over life. Khoray are composed of various poetic lines that incorporate the word khoray at the end of each line. This form of song is popular in Pemagatshel district where it is recited or sung mostly by men.
