Video Overview
Chening Dolma from Rizor village sings a Khoray song. Its origin is unknown, it was passed down through the generations by elders. The composer indicates his/her sorrows while death approaches, not having the power to remain in the world due to old age. The song is sung in Tshanglakha (Sharchop) and is not popular in other parts of Bhutan.
པདྨ་དགའ་ཚལ་རྫོང་ཁག་ རེ་ཟོར་གཡུས་ཚན་ལས་ ཆོས་ཉིད་སྒྲོལ་མ་གིས་ གདུང་བསམ་པའི་ཁོ་རེ་ཅིག་འཐེན་ཏེ་ཡོདཔ་ད་ བརྩམས་མི་ག་ཨིན་ན་དང་ དུས་ཚོད་ནམ་བརྩམས་བརྩམས་ཨིན་ན་ ཁ་གསལ་ཅིག་མི་ཤེས་དོ་ཡོདཔ་ད་ དང་ཕུ་ལས་ཕམ་ཚུ་གིས་འཐེན་མི་འདི་ རིམ་པ་བཞིན་དུ་བརྒྱུད་འོང་སྟེ་ ད་ལྟོའི་བར་ན་ཡང་འཐེན་སྲོལ་ཡོདཔ་ཨིན་པས། ཁོ་རེ་གླུ་གཞས་འདི་ རྩོམ་པ་པོ་གིས་ འཁོར་བའི་རང་བཞིན་ཚེ་མི་རྟག་པ་འདི་འོང་བའི་བསྒང་ལས་ ང་མི་འགྱོ་ཟེར་སྡོད་ནི་མེད་པ་ རང་དབང་མེད་པར་འཇིག་རྟེན་འདི་སྤང་སྟེ་འགྱོ་དགོ་ནི་དེ་གིས་ སྡུག་བསྔལ་ཕོག་སྟེ་སེམས་འཁྲུལ་བའི་སྐོར་ལས་ ཤར་ཕྱོགས་པའི་ཁ་སྐད་ནང་སྦེ་བརྩམས་ཡོདཔ་ལས་ རྫོང་ཁ་གཞན་ཁ་ལས་ཕར་ དར་ཁྱབ་ཆེ་ཏོག་ཏོ་ཅིག་མེདཔ་ཨིན་པས།

- ཆོས་ཉིད་སྒྲོལ་མ་ Chening Demaདབའ་ཡབ་སྲས་གཉིས་ཀྱི་བཀའ་དྲིན་ས་ཁོ་རེད། །བཟའ་ལེ་ཟས་བུ་གནང་ཉི་ས་ཁོ་རེད། ། དབའ་ཡབ་སྲས་གཉིས་ཀྱི་བཀ་དྲིན་ས་ཁོ་རེད། །བཟའ་ནི་ཟས་ཡང་གནང་སྟེ་ས་ཁོ་རེད། །Thankful to father and the son, sa khoray! They provided food for eating, sa khoray!

- ཆོས་ཉིད་སྒྲོལ་མ་ Chening Demaདབའ་རྒན་པེ་ཤར་ཉི་ཨུ་ཕ་ས་ཁོ་རེད་དག་ཉི། ། དབའ་ལོ་རྒས་ཏེ་འོང་ཡི་ས་ཁོ་རེད་ཟེར། །Time of old age and depart (death) has come, sa khoray! The body got disease, sa khoray!
- ཆོས་ཉིད་སྒྲོལ་མ་ Chening Demaཡ་ལུས་ལ་ན་ཚ་བྱུང་ཉི་ས་ཁོ་རེད། །དབའ་སེམས་ལ་སྐྱོ་བ་ལངས་ཉི་ས་ཁོ་རེད་དག་ཉི། ། ཡ་ལུས་ལ་ན་ཚ་བྱུང་སྟེ་ས་ཁོ་རེད། །དབའ་སེམས་ལ་སྐྱོ་བ་ལངས་ཏེ་ས་ཁོ་རེད་ཟེར། །The mind got sorrow, sa khoray! Village is improving (development), sa khoray!
