An old prophecy predicted the great Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal (1594–1651) would come to Bhutan. In 1616, Zhabdrung was indeed forced to flee Tibet. In visions, Bhutan's chief guardian deity offered Zhabdrung a home. Following these visions, Zhabdrung took residence in western Bhutan. It is said that when this master came the country, the Bhutanese people sang the zhungdra song How Qualified Masters Gather.
གཞུང་སྒྲའི་གླུ་གཞས་ མཚན་ལྡན་འཚོགས་པའི་ཚོགས་གླུ་འདི་ ཧེ་མ་ ཞབས་དྲུང་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་ལུང་བསྟན་དུས་ལུ་བབས་ ཆིབས་ཁ་ལྷོ་ལུ་བསྒྱུར་ཏེ་ ལྷོ་མོན་འབྲུག་ལུ་བྱོན་པའི་སྐབས་ལུ་ ལྷོ་མོན་འབྲུག་ལུང་པའི་མི་ཚུ་གིས་འཐེན་འཐེནམ་སྦེ་ བཤད་སྲོལ་འདུག གླུ་གཞས་འདི་ ཧེ་མའི་ཕམ་རྒན་ཤོས་ འཐེན་ཤེས་མི་ཚུ་གིས་ག་ནི་བ་ཧན་ཏོང་ཏོ་འབད་དེ་འཐེན་ནི་འདུག དེ་བཟུམ་སྦེ་ར་ སྤུ་ན་ཁ་གཡུ་བ་ཁ་ལས་བློ་གྲོས་ཀྱིས་ཡང་ གླུ་གཞས་འདི་ ག་ཅི་འདེ་ འཁྲུལ་ལྷང་ལྷང་འབད་དེ་འཐེནམ་ཨིན་མས། བློ་གྲོས་འདི་ འབྲུག་གི་གློག་བརྙན་ཚུ་ནང་ ཁྲབ་རྩེདཔ་སྦེ་ཡང་ རྩེ་ནི་འདུག མ་གཞི་ ཧེ་མ་ ང་བཅས་ར་འབྲུག་རྒྱལ་ཁབ་ནང་ལུ་ འ་ནི་བཟུམ་གྱི་གླུ་གཞས་འཐེན་ཤེས་མི་ གཏམ་ལོ་རྒྱུས་ཤེས་མི་ལེ་ཤ་སྡོད་སྡོདཔ་ཨིན་མས། ཨིན་རུང་ ང་བཅས་ར་ བུ་བརྒྱུད་ཚུ་གི་བསོད་ནམས་ཆུངམ་ལས་ ཉན་ཏེ་ལྷབ་བཞག་མི་ གནམ་མེད་ས་མེད་ཅིག་མེད་པར་ ད་རེས་ནངས་པར་ ཉམས་དང་ཉམས་བཞིན་དུ་ཡོདཔ་ཨིན།

- བློ་གྲོས། Loteyཤམ་ཐབས་ས་ལུ་མ་གཞོལ་ཆོས་ཀྱི་སྡོམ་པ་གཉིས། ། secondly before the robe touches the ground, one must pledge to dharma
- བློ་གྲོས། Loteyན་བཟའ་བར་ལས་ ན་བཟའ་བར་ལས་ལྷུག་དར་འཕྱར་བ་གསུམ་ཟེརཝ་ད་ཡ། ། from the middle of the cloth.. thirdly before the middle of the cloth sags and flutters
- བློ་གྲོས། Loteyཡར་གི་ཨོ་ལོ་དད་པའི་མཚན་ལྡན། ། the one who sang the above qualified song
- བློ་གྲོས། Loteyསངས་རྒྱས་སྟོང་གི་རྣམ་སྤྲུལ་ཐོབ་པ་ལགས་སོ། ། may he be reincarnated as the thousand buddha
