Yangkali seeds are used in the kologpa game. The toy consists of a yangkali seed with a stick inserted through it. The goal of the game is to spin the kologpa for the longest time possible. Alternatively, children sometimes spin the kologpa and run around a house competing to see who can reach it first before the spinning stops. Since the bamboo houses common to the area do not have even-surfaced floors, a cowhide, a pot lid, or some other object with a smooth surface is used as a board to spin the kologpa.
