This song sung by Sherub Dorji from Langmikha village of Dogar gewog in Paro district was a good bye song. He sings only the first section of the song while the rest follows in the same manner with changes in the subject such as the meadow and the deer, fish and lake etc. In the first section Sherub sang, the pyrics says, the high sky is behind the mountain while the sun is at the fore front of the mountain. Its been long that we did not meet last year but it was nice to see you this year. The horse and stuff are the offering to the Lama and blessed strongs are the gift from the Lama. To those leaving, offer the good bye drink, the drinks of ara and singchang. To those staying offer fruits of auspiciousness, the auspicious fruits of doma and pani (betel leaves and nut).
