A household from Gashari village in Pemagatshel district is preparing Kharang food and a pumpkin curry. Kharang is the ground maize, which is washed and then boiled in a pot for some time. Then the excess water is strained after which the remaining water is left to dry. Eventually a well-steamed Kharang meal is served.
