Minjur from Borongmang village sings a bodra song called "Bjamo Serbja", sung during marriage ceremonies in the Sakteng community. The lyrics of the song call the bride in the house with the hope of invoking prosperity and wellbeing for the family from the day she enters the house of the groom. The song describes the bride as a golden hen and summons this spirit as an auspicious sign to bring timely rainfall to the community, bring immortality to the family, blossom flowers from the tree and provide long life for all the family members. Thus it is also a kind of supplication song to the golden hen in order to bring peace and tranquility to the family after the inclusion of the new bride.
