Video Overview
The song Sergi Laso Gyeltshan, the golden victory banner, is a song about Choekhor Lhasa Monastery with a golden victory banner on top of it. The song is about the spiritual master Shakyamuni Buddha residing in the monastery. The lyrics glorify the temple and the master who built the monastery and hoisted the victory banner to bring prosperity to the monastery and the community at large. The spiritual master is seated on the golden throne to spread the Buddha dharma all over the world for all sentient beings. Gyangay Lham and her friend from Toed, in Tsirang district, sang the song.
