Kinley Lhamo from Yong-gu in Punakha sings the song Ghola Legpai Adha Mathra. The lyrics to the song describe a type of costume for men. The term “adha marthra” refers to horizontal stripes of a fabric. These stripes, consisting of dark shades of yellow, red, orange, blue, and green, are amongst the most popular textile designs in Bhutan. Adha mathra originated in Wangdue Phodrang.
