The reason why pradhan's are married with Bell is because other cast doesn't do it, only pradhan does it.

ང་བཅས་པར་དན་གྱི་བལཤིང་འབྲས་ཅིག་གཅིག་ཁར་གཉན་རྐྱབ་མི་འདི་གཞན་གྱི་རྐྱབ་ནི་མེད་ ང་བཅས་པར་དན་ཅམ་ཅིག་ཨིན།

We perform marriage in a traditional way. Most of the time the girls are married with the bell between the age group of seven, nine and eleven. When their monthly period starts then there is no use of bell marriage. Usually the bell marriage is performed before their period starts. It is considered as one of the biggest dharma for pradhan's.

ད་དགེ་བའི་དོན་ལུ་ང་བཅས་གི་ ལོ་དགུ་ལས་མགོ་བཙུགས་ལ་ལོ་གི་ལོ་བདུན་དགུ་བཅུ་གཅིག་གི་བར་ན་རང་འབད་དགོ འདི་ཡང་དང་ཕུག་ལས་ཡོདཔ་ལས་ང་བཅས་གི་འབད་རང་འབད་དགོ ཏེ་འདི་ཡང་ཁོང་གི་ཟླ་ཁྲག་མ་འོངམ་མི་ཧེ་མ་ལས་འབད་བ་ཅིན་དགེ་བ་སྦོམ་ཨིན་ང་བཅས་པར་དན་གྱིི་ལུགས་སྲོལ་ལས་འབདན།

After the bell marriage, when the girl enters to adulthood, then the big marriage ceremoney is not necessary. Some people conduct it but it can be done either by giving a small party to the village elderes and neighbours. Thus, the biggest dharma we have is to marry with the bell.

ཏེ་འདི་གི་ཤུལ་ལས་གཉེན་རྐྱབ་པའི་སྐབས་ལུ་དུས་སྟོན་བརྩིས་རུང་ཡང་བཏུབ་ ཏེ་གཡུས་ཁའི་རྒེས་ཤོས་དང་ཕམ་སྤིན་ཆ་ཚུ་གི་འཛོམས་འབད་ཚུལ་ཙམ་འབད་རུང་བཏུབ། ཏེ་འ་ནི་འདི་ང་བཅས་ཀྱི་ལུགས་སྲོལ་དང་དགེ་བ་སྦོམ་ཅིག་ཨིན།

Incase if the girl elop with someone without performing bell marriage, she has to undergo the bell marriage first then only she can go and live with her future husband forever. If the bell breaks then the girl become widow. If it doen't break then she is not a widow.

ཏེ་མོ་བལ་གཉེན་རྟེན་འབྲེལ་མ་འབད་རྨགཔ་དང་གཅིག་ཁར་ཡར་སོང་རུང་ རྟེན་འབྲེལ་འདི་འབད་རང་འབད་དགོ་ དེ་ལས་ཅམ་ཅིག་རྨགཔ་དང་གཅིག་ཁར་གཉེན་རྐྱབ་དགོ ཏེ་བལ་ཤིང་འབྲེལ་འདི་དཀྲུམ་ཡར་སོང་བ་ཅིག་ མོ་ཡུག་ས་མོ་ལུ་འགྱུརཝ་ཨིན་ ཟེར་སླབ་སྲོལ་ཡོད།

The bell should be properly kept. Where ever you go or else you are married, the bell is believed to be cared by the girls. This is a tradition passed down by our fore fathers and we still practice it. This is a tradition that we pradhan's have.

ཏེ་བལ་ཤིང་འབྲེལ་འདི་རང་མ་གཅིག་ཁར་རང་བཞགས་དགོ་ ཏེ་འདི་ཤི་ཚེ་ཅིག་ ག་ཏེ་རང་རྨགཔ་དང་གཉེན་རྐྱབ་རུང་འགྱོ་རུང་བདག་འཛིན་འབད་བཞགས་དགོ ཏེ་ཧེ་མ་རང་ལབ་གཉེན་གི་རྟེན་འབྲེལ་འདི་འབད་དགོ་ འདི་ཡང་ང་བཅས་ཕམ་་རྒས་ཤོས་ཚུ་གི་སྐབས་ལས་རང་དེ་འབད་སྦེ་འོང་ནི་འདི་གི་ ད་རེས་ནང་པ་ཡང་ང་བཅས་ཀྱི་འབད་དོ་ འདི་ང་བཅས་པར་དན་གྱི་ལམ་ལུགས་སྲོལ་ཨིན།

Later it's in girl's hand wether to marry the boy of her cast or the other cast. Whether the girl is married to pradhan or to other cast, the bell marriage is a necessity. They must perfom it.

དེ་ལས་འདི་གི་ཤུལ་ལས་གཉེན་འདི་ག་བཟུམ་དང་རྐྱབ་འགྱོ་འོང་ག་སླབ་མི་ཤེས་ ཏེ་མི་རིགས་གཞན་དང་འགྱོ་རུང་ བལ་རྟེན་འབྲེལ་འདི་གི་བཏུབ་འདི་འབད་རང་འབད་དགོ ཏེ་བལ་གཉེན་རྟེན་འབྲེལ་འདི་ཕྱུག་པོ་འདི་ཚུ་གི་ བྲམ་ཟེ་གི་བུམོ་གཉིས་དང་གསུམ་འབོ་འདི་རྟེན་འབྲེལ་སྦོམ་འབད་རེ་འབད་དགོ དེ་ལས་བལ་དང་བྲམ་ཟེ་བུམོ་འབོ་སྦེ་འབད་དགོ་མི་འདི་ཡང་བལ་བཟུང་མི་འདི་བྲམ་ཟེ་དགོཔ་མ་ཚད་ནང་མི་གཅིག་དགོ གསུམ་ཡང་ན་ལྔ་འབད་ཡང་བཏུབ་ བལ་འདི་དེ་འབད་རང་བཞགས་དགོ

The rich people perform bell marriage in a grand way by hiring two to three brahmin pandits and a brahmin girl. They also make Jagay. The bell is kept like that only.

The reason of hiring a brahmin girl is because the brahmin girl has to put sindur to the bride with the tip of the bell. Some times there will about five to three bell marriage. Each of the bride should be able to recognize their bell.

ཏེ་བྲམ་ཟེ་བུམོ་དགོ་མི་འདི་ཡང་ བལ་གུ་ལས་ཤིང་དུར་ ལྷོ་མཚམཧ་ཨམ་སྲུ་ཚུ་གི་གཉེན་རྐྱབ་པའི་རྟགས་དཔྱལཝ་གུ་ཨུར་བའི་ཚོན་དམརཔ་ཅིག འབག་འདི་བུམོ་འདི་གི་དཔྱལཝ་གུ་ཨུར་དགོ་ ཏེ་ཚར་གཅིག་ནང་བུམོ་གསུམ་དང་ལྔ་འབད་གཉེན་རྐྱབ་ཨིན། ཏེ་རང་གི་ཨམ་སྲུ་ངོ་ཤེས་དགོ་ ཏེ་འདི་བཟུམ་འབད་ལེགས་ཤོམ་འབད་གཉེན་རྐྱབཔ་ཨིན།

After the bell marriage they can just give a small party. Especially during Dasai they get an opportunity to know their relatives. But above all the biggest karma of our Pradhan is the bell marriage, the first task they need to perform.

ཏེ་ཤུལ་ལས་སྦོམ་འགྱོ་འདི་ ཡང་ན་རང་གི་མི་རིགས་དང་གཅིག་ཁར་འགྱོ་འོང་ཡང་ན་ མི་རིགས་གཞན་དང་འགྱོ་འོང་། ད་འ་ནི་འདི་ང་བཅས་རང་ཕམ་ཚུ་གི་འབད་ཡོད་པའི་ལམ་ལུགས་སྲོལ་དང་དགེ་བའི་ལཱ་གཅིག་ཨིན། ཤུལ་ལས་འདི་གཉེན་རྐྱབ་རུང་བཏུབ་མ་རྐྱབ་རུང་བཏུབ་ ང་བཅས་ཕར་དན་གྱི་འདི། ཤུལ་ལས་ལོ་གསར་གང་འོང་འབད་ཀྲི་ཀ་སྦྱར་འབད་རུང་བཏུབ། ང་བཅས་པར་དན་གྱི་འདི་ཧེ་མ་རང་ བལ་དང་གཅིག་ཁར་གཉེན་རྐྱབ་ནི་འདི་ཨིན།

The one who can afford will perform bell marriage first when the girls are young. Others who cannot afford does it after the marriage. Whether be it first or last, the bell marriage is the most important thing the Pradhan needs to do.

འབད་ཚུགས་མི་ཚུ་གི་འདི་ཧེ་མ་ཡང་འབད་འོང་ ཏེ་འབད་མ་ཚུགས་མི་ཚུ་གི་ཤུལ་ལས་ སྦོམ་འགྱོ་ལོ་ན་ཚོད་ལངམ་འདི་གི་ རྨགཔ་དང་ཆ་འགྱོ་འོང་བ་ཏེ་སྨོས། ཏེ་འ་ནི་བལ་གཉེན་རྟེན་འབྲེལ་འདི་རྨགཔ་དང་ཡར་སོང་རུང་འབད་དགོ་ཤུལ་ལས། ད་ང་གི་འདི་འ་ནི་ཅིག་རང་ཨིན།
