  • ལྟ་ངས་ཟེར་ཡག་འདི་རེད། ང་ཚོའི་བོད་ཀྱི་ལྟ་འབྲི་ལུགས་རིགས་ཀྱི་ལྷག་པར་དུ་ང་ཚོ་དགེ་འདུན་ཆོས་འཕེལ་གྱི་སྒྱུ་རྩལ་ཚན་ཚོགས་ཁང་གི་དམིགས་ཡུལ་དེ་གང་རེད་ཟེར་ན།
    This is what I have to say, the thinking and objectives behind the Gedun Choephel Artists' Guild
  • རི་མོ་དེ་དེང་རབས་ཀྱི་རི་མོ་འདི་ལྟ་ག་རེ་ཟེར་དགོས་ཀྱི་རེད། Identity ར་ཅིག་མཐོང་ཡག་ར་ཅིག་མ་གང་ལ་བཀྲམས་ཡག་ཡོང་ཡག་བསྟན་ཡག་ཡོང་ཡག་དེ་འདྲ་ར་ཅིག་གི་བསམ་བློ་དེ་འདྲ་རེད།
    are to bring about and showcase the identity of contemporary art, and make it visible to everyone.
  • ཨཱ་ནི་ག་རེ་རེད་ཟེར་ན་འདི་ང་ཚོའི་ད་དུང་ང་ཚོའི་རི་མོ་མཐོང་ཡག་དེ་ཚོ་གང་རེད་ཟེར་ན། དེང་རབས་ཞེ་པོ་དེང་རབས་ཀྱི་བསམ་བློ་འཛམ་བུ་གླིང་གི་དེང་རབས་ཀྱི་རི་མོ་གི་བསམ་བློ་དེའི་སྐོར་གྱི་གོ་དང་བི་ཇོའོ་ (Ch.比较)བཟོ་ལྟ་བྱས་པ་ཡིན་ན། འདི་ལྦང་ཇོན་ཏང་ཏཡེ་ (Ch.当代)བཟོ་ལྟ་ཨེ་འདྲས་ཡོག་མ་རེད།
    Having said that, however, the art works we have here are not completely contemporary when compared with the rest of the world.
  • སྔོན་མ་ང་ཚོའི་བསམ་བློ་འཁྱེར་སྟངས་དེ་ག་རེ་ཟེར་དགོས་ཀྱི་རེད། ཤན་ཏཡེ་ཏྲུ་ཡེ་(Ch.现代主义)གི་བསམ་བློ་འདི་ཏིག་ཙམ་ཤུགས་ཆེན་པོ་ཡོག་རེད།
    Earlier, our thinking was strongly influenced by modernism.
  • ཏང་ཏཡེ་གྱི་ contemporary art ཟེར་ཡག་ལྟ་སོ་སོ་ཡི་འཚོ་བ་དང་འབྲེལ་བ་ཤུགས་ཆེན་པོ་ཞེ་པོ་ཡོག་རྒྱོག སོ་སོའོ་བསམ་བློ་དང་ཀོའུ་ཉན་(Ch.观念)གྱི་བེའུ་རྡ་(Ch.表达)འདི་སྡང་ལ་རྦད་དེ་ཀྲུང་ཧྲི་(Ch.重视)ཞེ་པོ་བྱེད་ཀྱི་ཡོག་རེད།
    However, contemporary art has a firm connection with one's life and stresses the expression of one's concepts.
  • དེ་མིན་པ་བྱས། ཕྷན་གར་(Ch.风格)དང་ལྟ་གང་ཟེར་དགོས་ཀྱི་རེད་ཁྲན་དུང་(Ch.传统)གྱི་ནང་ལོགས་ཀྱི་སློབ་སྦྱོང་ར་ཅིག་བྱས། ཨཱ་ནི་ཡུད་ཡན་(Ch.语言)སྒང་ལ་ཏིག་ཙམ་ཏིག་ཙམ་བསྒྱུར་བྱས་སོ་སོ་ཀེ་རན་ཧའ་(Ch.个人化)སོ་སོའི་གི་ཡུད་ཡན་(Ch.语言)གཅིག་བུ་བྱས་པ་དང་། དེང་དུས་ཀྱི་རི་མོའི་ཁོངས་ནང་དུ་འགྲོ་གི་ཡོག་མ་རེད།
    Other than that, by merely studying the styles, traditions, making some minor changes in the artistic expression and then individualizing it doesn't produce contemporary art.
  • དེང་དུས་ཀྱི་རི་མོ་ཟེར་ན་སོ་སོའི་འཚོ་བ་དང་འབྲེལ་བ། འཚོ་བ་སྐྱེལ་སྟངས་དང་བསམ་བློ་གཏོང་སྟངས་དང་། འདའི་རྦད་དེ་འབྲེལ་བ་ཆེན་པོ་ཡོག་རྒྱོག
    Contemporary art is connected with one's life, regarding how one lives one's life and how one thinks.
  • འདི་འབྲེལ་བ་ཞེ་པོ་ཡོག་རེད།
    And such connections are very strong.
  • ཨཱ་ནི་ང་ཚོ་རི་མོའི་སྒང་ལ་གང་ཟེར་དགོས་ཀྱི་རེད་ལྟ། སྒྱུ་རྩལ་པ་ཁ་ཤས་ཤིག་གིས་དཔེ་བཞག་ན་འདི་སྙན་གྲགས་ཟེར་མཁན། སྙན་གྲགས་ཀྱི་རི་མོ་གང་རེད་ཟེར་ན། ཁོང་གིས་ང་ཚོའི་འདི་ཤག་གི་དེང་རབས་ཀྱི་འཚོ་བ་དང་འགྲོ་སྟངས་བྱེད་སྟངས་དང་དེ་ལ་འབྲེལ་བ་ཆེན་པོ་འདུག
    Among some of the artists, the individuals we have here, artist Nyendrak's paintings are all closely related to every aspect of our modern life.
  • ངས་དེ་དེང་དུས་རི་མོའི་ནང་ཏིག་ཙམ་འགྲོ་གི་འདུག
    And therefore I consider his works to be contemporary art.
  • དེང་སང་དགའ་སྡེའི་ང་ཚོའི་ནང་ལོགས་ལ་དགའ་སྡེའི་རི་མོ། ཁོའི་རི་མོ་ཡི་འབྲི་ཡག་གི་འབྲི་སྟངས་འདི་传统གི་སྔས་མ་ང་ཚོའི་སྲོལ་རྒྱུན་གྱི་འབྲི་སྟངས་ཨེ་འདྲས་རེད།
    And then among us, we have artist Gadé who uses the traditioan style of paintings.
  • ལྟ་མེའི་ཇིང་(Ch.美景)གང་ག་ཨེ་འདྲས་བྱས། ཡང་ནང་དོན་གང་རེ་རེད་ཟེར་ན་ང་ཚོའི་འཚོ་བ་དང་རྦད་གྲི་ཅེའི་(Ch.直接)འབྲེལ་བ་ཡོད་རྒྱོགས་རེད་ཀྱི་ནང་དོན་རྐྱང་རྐྱང་རེད།
    Although the scenery and many other features have the appearance of traditional arts, the subjects of his works are all very much related to our modern life.
  • ལྟ་དེ་ཤག་གི་འཚོ་བ་ཡི་འགྲོ་སྟངས་དང་། ག་རེ་ཟེར་དགོས་ཀྱི་རེད། འདི།
    They are related to modern livelihood. How should I put it?
  • རིག་གནས་གསར་པ་དེ་ཚོ་ང་ཚོ་直接跟我们生活生存关系འདི་རྦད་དེ་འདི་བེའུ་ཤན་(Ch.表现)བྱེད་ཀྱི་ཡོག་རེད།
    They are directly related to new cultures and reflects our modern way of living.
  • འདི་ཏང་ཏཡེ་ཡིད་ཧུའུ་(Ch.当代艺术)གྱི་བི་ཇོའོ་ཇེ་ཅིང་ (Ch.比较接近).
    And this is quite close to contemporary art.
  • ལིང་ལྦེའེ་ (Ch.另外)འདི་གང་རེད། ཚེ་དབང་བཀྲ་ཤིས་ལགས་ཀྱི་རི་མོ་ཡིན་ནའི་རེད། ལྟ་ཁོ་རང་གི་ཤོའོ་ཤངས་ (Ch.肖像).
    Besides, we have artist Tséwang Trashi's portrait paintings.
  • ཤོའོ་ཤངས་ portrait. Portrait ནང་ལོགས་ཀྱི་བེའུ་ཤན་(Ch.表现) བྱེད་ཡག་གི་ནང་ལོགས་ཀྱི་མི་གང་ག་ལོགས་སྔས་མ་ཡི་ང་ཚོས་རྟག་པར་མཐོང་ཡག་གི་རི་མོ་ portrait ཨེ་འདྲས་མིན་པ་བྱས།
    His portrait works are not the same traditional portrait paintings that we have seen before.
  • འདི་ཤག་གི་གསར་པ་བོད་རིགས་ཀྱི་སྤུ་གུ་གསར་པ་གྱི་ལྟ་གོས་གྱོན་སྟངས་དང་། སྐྲ་ཡི་བཟོ་ལྟ་དང་།
    His works reflect the new generation of Tibetans and their fashion statement like how they dress, keep their hairstyle,
  • ལྟ་ག་རེ་ཟེར་དགོས་ཀྱི་རེད། འགྲོ་སྟངས་བྱེད་སྟངས་གང་ག་ལོགས་སྔས་མ་དང་མི་འདྲ་བ།
    and how should I put it? Unlike the traditional style, what he portraits are entirely new.
  • ཏང་ཏཡེ་(Ch.当代)མི་ཡི་ཧྲང་ཕྷན་(Ch.身份)གྱི་གཅིག་ཐི་ཤན་(Ch.体现)གཅིག་ཡོག་རེད་པ་འདི་གཙོ་བོ།
    His portrait works mainly reflect and embody the status of today's people.
  • ལྟ་དཔེ་བཞག་ན་ཡི་ཧུའུ་ཇཱ་ཀྲེཡེ་ཤེ་(Ch.艺术家这些)ཁོ་རང་ཚོ་ལ་ཏིག་ཙམ་ཏིག་ཙམ་བྱེད་མཁན་འདུག ངས་འདི་ལ་འདི་འགྲོ་སྟངས་འདི་ཏིག་ཙམ་ཏིག་ཙམ་ཡག་ག་འདུག
    For example, these artists are gradually embracing a new approach. And I think it is good.
  • ལྟ་སྔས་མ་གྱི་ཁྲོན་ཐུང་ (Ch. 传统) ནང་སློབ་སྦྱོང་བྱས། འདི་ག་རེ་ཟེར་དགོས་ཀྱི་རེད།
    By studying the traditional approaches, and how should I put it?
  • སོ་སོའི་ཕྷན་གར་གཅིག་པུ་གྲོན་ཧཱ་ར་(Ch. 转化)ཅིག་བྱས། འདི་བྱས་པ་དང་ངས་ཏག་ཏག་ཡིན་ནམ། ཏང་ཏཡེ་ཡིད་ཧུའུ་ཁོངས་ནང་དུ་འགྲོ་གི་མིན་འདུག
    And by only changing the style doesn't make one's works contemporary art.
  • འདི་སྔོན་མ་ཤན་ཏཡེ་ཡིད་ཧུའུ་(Ch.现代艺术) གི་ག་རེ་ཟེར་དགོས་ཀྱི་རེད། ཁྲན་ཐུང་དང་མི་རིགས་གཞན་དག་དང་། འདི་ནང་ལོགས་ལ་སློབ་སྦྱོང་བྱས།
    This is more like early modern art. How should I put it? By studying the traditional arts and that of the other nationalities,
  • ཡང་སོ་སོ་སོ་སོ་ཡིས་འདོན་ཡོག་ཡག་ཡང་གི་ཀེ་རན་ཧའ་ཀྲེ་ཀྲུང་(Ch.个人化这种）འདི་མཐོང་གི་ཡོག་རེད་པ་ཏང་ཏཡེ་ཡིད་ཧུའུ་ (Ch.当代艺术)གྱི་ཁོངས་ལ་ཞེ་དྲགས་ཞེ་དྲགས་འགྲོ་གི་མི་འདུག
    and then individualizing them does not turn them into contemporary art.
  • བྱས་ནའི་ང་ཚོ་རི་མོ་བྲིས་མཁན་གང་ག་ལོགས་འདིའི་ཕྱོགས་ལ་ག་རེ་ག་རེ། སོ་སོ་སོ་སོའི་འཚོ་བ་དང་སོ་སོ་སོ་སོའི་འདི་ལྟ་བསམ་བློ་གསར་པ་དང་འདའི་འབྲེལ་བ་ཡོད་པའི་རི་མོ་སྒང་ལ་ག་ལེར་ག་ལེར་ཀོའུ་ཉན་གྱི་བེའུ་ཤན་(Ch.观念) ཀོའུ་ཉན་གྱི་བེའུ་རྡ་(Ch.观念表达) ད་ག་ལེ་ག་ལེར་ཆགས་ཀྱི་འདུག
    However, all our artists are slowly moving in the right direction, and they are expressing their life and new concepts in art forms.
  • ལྟ་དེ་གལ་ཆེན་པོ་རེད།
    That is essential.
  • ཏང་ཏཡེ་ཡིད་ཧུའུ་ (Ch.当代艺术)གྱི་མིང་དེ་བཏགས་པ་ཡིན་ན་འདི་ག་རེ་རེད་ཟེར་ན་འདི་འདིའི་སྐོར་ལ་ག་ལེར་ག་ལེར་འགྲོ་དགོས་ཀྱི་འདུག
    If one gives the title of contemporary art to one's work, one has to move in that direction slowly.
  • ངའི་བསམ་བློ་འོ་ཨེ་འདྲས་ར་ཅིག་རེད།
    That is my viewpoint.
