"Gazang Lhasoel" is a household offering ritual commonly practiced in Pemagatshel District. Shali Gewog resident Sangay Yongdup performs it. In lhasöl rituals, deities are invoked and offerings are made to them in order to prevent illnesses and misfortunes. The term lhasöl, or offering is primarily used in eastern Bhutan. Gazang Lhasöl is an annual household ritual worshipping the spirit Gazang Lha.
