Yezang Norbu provides an account on the origin of Chongshing village after the people from Yurung in Pemagatshel district resettled in the area. Yezang's father told him about Yurung Koche, who his father once worked with and was once the paramount leader in the around Yurung. According to his account, Yurung Koche drove out the people of Dechenling in order to make room for his own people. Chongshing began with only three households from Yurung and then grew to the village it is today.

- གཞི་བཟང་ནོར་བུ་ Yezang Norbuལགས་སོ་ ང་ནཱ་ལས་ཨིན་ ལྕོང་ཤིང་བོ་རང་ལས་ཨིན་ ངའི་མིང་གཞི་བཟང་ནོར་བུ་ཨིན་ མ་པ་ང་བཅས་ནཱ་ལྕོང་ཤིང་ཆགས་ཚུལ་གྱི་སྐོར་ལས་ ཚིག་གཅིག་གཉིས་དེམ་ཅིག་ཞུ་བ་ཅིན།Alright, I am from Chongshing. My name is Yezang Norbu. I'll talk about how Chongshing village came to develop.
- གཞི་བཟང་ནོར་བུ་ Yezang Norbuདང་པོ་ ང་རའི་ཨ་པ་འདི་ གཡུ་རུང་ཁོ་ཆེའི་འོག་ལུ་སྦེ་སྡོད་ནུག འདི་བསྒང་ལུ་ ངའི་ཨ་པ་ ཧེ་མ་ ད་ལྟོ་འདི་སྤྱི་དཔོན་ཟེར་སླབ་མས་ དེ་བསྒང་འདི་ ཁག་མི་སྦེ་སྡོད་ནུག ཧེ་མ་ ཕར་རང་ལོ་གཅིག་ ཁག་མི་སྦེ་སྡོད་དོ་ཨིན་པས།Long ago, my father worked under Yurung Khoche as Khagme for a year, which is known as chepen these days.

- གཞི་བཟང་ནོར་བུ་ Yezang Norbuའ་ན་ མར་བདེ་ཆེན་གླིང་པ་ཚུ་གིས་ཆགས་སྡོད་ནུག ཆགས་སྡོདཔ་ད་ ཁོ་ཆེ་ཀྱིས་ ང་བཅས་ཀྱི་ས་ཆགས་ལུ་ཁོང་ ཆགས་སྟེ་སྡོད་ནུག་ཟེར་ ཁོ་ནཱ་འོང་སྟེ་ ཁོང་སྡོད་མིན་དགོ་ཟེར་བརྡ་བཏང་ལྕོང་ཤིང་སྡོད་མི་མི་རྒྱུས་ཚུ།Dechelingpa was setteled here but Yurung khoche asked them to move away as it was Khoche's land and sent them away.
- གཞི་བཟང་ནོར་བུ་ Yezang Norbuཧེ་མ་ ཁོང་ཚུ་གིས་ ཡར་ལུ་རྡོ་རྟགས་ཅིག་བཟོ་ནུག་ ཁོང་མར་ བདེ་ཆེན་གླིང་པ་ཚུ་གི་ དེ་ལས་ང་བཅས་ཀྱི་ས་ཆགས་ཨིན་ཟེར་བརྡ་བཏང་སྟེ་ དེ་ལས་ ཁྱེད་ཆ་ཁྱབ་ ང་བཅས་ཀྱི་ས་ཆགས་ལུ་ཁོང་འོང་སྡོད་ནུགDechelingpa made a stone mark above the village. They were sent away as it was our land. It was said that outsiders resided on our land,
- གཞི་བཟང་ནོར་བུ་ Yezang Norbuཁྱེད་ གཞི་བཅག་པར་འགྱོ་འོང་ག་ཟེར་སླབ་ལས་ ཕར་གཡུ་རུང་ལས་ ང་བཅས་མི་རྒྱུད་གཡུ་རུང་པ་ཨིན་མས་ ཁོ་ཆེའི་དེ་སྦེ་གསུང་སྟེ་ འགྱོ་ནི་ཨིན་ ང་བཅས་ཀྱི་ས་ཆགས་བདག་འཛིན་འབད་བར་ཟེར་སླབ་སྟེ་ དགུང་གྲངས་གསུམ་དེམ་ཅིག་འོང་ནིག་ནཱ་ལུ།Khoche asked his people if they wanted to reside in that place. We were originally Yurungpa and our people agreed to reside at the place saying we should take care of the land. So, [initially] three households came from Yurung and lived here.
- གཞི་བཟང་ནོར་བུ་ Yezang Norbuནཱ་ལུ་གསུམ་དེམ་ཅིག་འོང་སྟེ་ ལོ་དག་པ་ཅིག་འགྱོ་ཞིམ་ལས་ ཁོ་ཆེ་ལུ་ཞབས་སར་སྦྱར་ཏེ་ ང་བཅས་ཀྱི་ས་ཆགས་ཡི་མིང་ཅིག་རྟགས་དགོ་པས་ ཁྲལ་རྟགས་དགོ་པས་ ང་བཅས་འདི་ཧེ་མ་ སུ་མི་པུ་ལོ་ཟེརཝ་སླབ་དེས་ ང་བཅས་ཀྱི་འདི་གཞུང་ཁྲལ་པ་ཟེར་ཨིན་མས་ དེ་ལས་མཁོ་ཆེ་གིས།After several years here, they visited Yurung khoche to receive a name for the village and to make a tax system. There were various taxes such as sumopo, etc... and we were from a government tax group.
- གཞི་བཟང་ནོར་བུ་ Yezang Norbuང་གི་གཞུང་ཁྲལ་པའི་ ས་ཆགས་བསྐོར་བར་འགྱོ་ནི་ཟེར་འོངམ་ད་ ལྕོང་ཤིང་ཨིན་ཟེར་རྟགས་ནུག་ ལྕོང་ཤིང་འདི་དཔེར་ན་ འབད་གཞག་བཅའ་གཞག་གི་སྐྱོང་གཞག་མེད་པས་ ས་ཆགས་འདི་ གནམ་མེད་ས་མེད་མཚོ་བ་ སྐྱོང་བའི་སྐྱོང་ཐངས་ལེགས་ཤོམ་འདུག་ཟེར་ལྕོང་ཤིང་རྟགས་རྟགསཔ་ཨིན་ཟེར་གསུང་ཡི་ང་རའི་ཨ་པ་གིས།Saying that they are my government tax group, Khoche visited the place. He named the place as Chongshing because of the good usage of the land. Not because of any other reason. My father told me this.
