Tandin Dema from Hungrel presents “Dromchu Dargi Maja,” a song that describes the traditional Bhutanese string instrument, the dranyen, and discusses various places where the dranyen's music is offered. The song describes the dranyen as a peacock feather-like victory banner whose melody is offered to beings on different planes of existence: to the gods in high heaven, the tsen spirits in the middle realm, and the demigods in the lower realm. This is one of the few examples of Bhutanese folk songs about the dranyen. The tune is in the boedra style.
