Leki Chozom from Dekiling under Tsirang District sings the zhungdra song “Don’t Go to the East” (Dzo. shar phyogs la mi ’gro). The elders in Samdrup Jongkhar sing this popular song with their own particular lyrics and tune. These and other elements of the song may differ from region to region due to cultural specificities.
