When Bhutan was underdeveloped in terms of food supply, people in Zhengang collected food from the forest. Yangkali (local term) is one of these foods normally consumed, though it is poisonous. It's used on arrows in hunting. People used to use them as musical instruments after it dries. But now most people were unaware how to prepare and use it. It is also utilized in other part of country as playing equipment, which is popularly know as Kolagpa Yur Yur pa.
