Singye Zangmo from Dungkar Gewog (county) in Lhuntse Dzongkhag (district), sings an old Boedra song called "Gung Sang Gi Thoenpo". The song honors parents, claiming that the village they live in is beautiful due to the happiness generated by generous parents. The composer asks the listener to return to their parents and stay with them or near their village. The song uses common metaphors such as the sun and the sky, the snow lion and the mountain, and the golden fish and the river.
