A Gyalsumdo speaker living in the village of Chame describes the process of making a wine called Raksi and shows the process in her kitchen.

- SABdhene ɦotikolə tʃhu luअनि त्यसमा पानि हाल।Then add some water in it.
- SABdhene ara kolkẽअनि त्यसलाई रक्सी पार्ने।To make the local beer from it.
- SABwalə tʃhjaŋ luतल जाँड हाल।Keep brewed liquor in the lower pot.

- SABdhene te ɲjalə tʃhu luत्यसपछि माथि पानि हाल।Then, add some water to the upper pot
- SABdhene tʃhu sum tʃheत्यसपछि तिन पानी फेर्नु (गर्नु)।Then change the water three times.
- SABdhene ara tʏn keअनि रक्सी निकाल्ने।And then, take out the wine.
- SABdhene ara tʏndi tumpalə lugeअनि रक्सी निकालेर तुम्लेटमा हाल्ने।And keep it in a small water bottle after having taken it out.
- SABtitakraŋ tʃjaŋ re tʃjaŋयो सबै जाँड हो जाँड।All this is brewed liquor, you know.
- SABʈe tʃhaŋचामलको जाँड्।The brewed liquor of rice grains.
