Yangay from Woongchilo village in Jamkhar Gewog, Trashiyangtse Dzongkhag sings “Sajana Rigi Pharjabna,” which loosely translates as “Beyond the Jewel Hill in China.” This boedra song says that, when the Lama stays in the temple then religion flourishes; when the king stays in the dzong, there is happiness for his people; when parents are in their house, wealth will come to them. Finally, the song says that when there are girls and boys in the village, there will be cooperation between people.
