Video Overview
The dance documented in this video differs from other masked dances in the costumes dancers wear and the manner the performance begins. Usually in most of masked dances, dancers wear wrathful masks. Here, the dancers wear ornate gilded crowns, and all the eight dancers come out of the green room together. After performing, they enter back to green room one by one. This dance is performed during the Tshechu Festival, which is usually held during the fifth Bhutanese month.
