Rinzin Dem narrates “On the Auspicious Day” (Zarkar Pünsum Tsokpe Nyimdi Nang), a historical lozey ballad. The ballad describes the deeds of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo, Jigme Singye Wangchuk, for the welfare of Bhutan. In particular, the verses express gratitude towards the king for promoting the democratization of the country.
རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་མ་གིས་ གཟའ་སྐར་ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས་པའི་ཉིནམ་འདི་ནང་ཟེར་ མི་དབང་འབྲུག་རྒྱལ་བཞི་པ་ འཇིགས་མེད་སེངྒེ་དབང་ཕྱུག་མཆོག་ འབྲུག་མི་ཡོངས་ཀྱི་སྐྱིད་སྡུག་གཟིགས་མི་ བཀྲིན་ཅན་གྱི་གོངམ་ཅིག་ཨིནམ་མ་ཚད་ རྒྱལ་ཁབ་ནང་ འགོ་བཙུགས་གནང་མི་ བཀྲིན་ཅན་གྱི་རྒྱལཔོ་ཨིནམ་པའི་ འགྲེལ་བཤད་ཕུལཝ་ཨིན་པས།

- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་མི་དབང་འབྲུག་རྒྱལ་བཞི་པ་དགུང་ལོ་དྲུག་ཅུ་བཞེས་པའི་འཁྲུངས་སྐར་དུས་སྟོན་བརྩི་སྲུང་ཞུ་ས་ལུ།Celebration of the 60th birth anniversary of the fourth Druk Gyelpo.
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་བཅའ་མར་གཏོགས་ནི་གོ་སྐབས་གནང་། །Giving the opportunity to participate.
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་མི་ང་ཡང་སྐལ་བ་བཟང་ནུག་བ། །I am great fortune;
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་ཉོན་ཅིག་ཡབ་ཆེན་ཨ་པ། །listen father!
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་གསོན་ཅིག་ཅིག་ཤོས་ཨ་ཞང་། །Listen uncle!
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་རྣཝ་འགྲམ་ཚིགས་རྒྱལ་མོ་ཕྱི་ལས་ཉན། །listen by the ear from outside.
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་སེམས་རིག་པའི་སྤྱང་ཅུང་ནང་ལས་བཙུགས། །putting the brave mind inside.
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་སྤྱི་ལོ་གཅིག་སྟོང་དགུ་བརྒྱ་ལྔ་བཅུ་ང་ལྔ་ལུ། །On the year of nineteen fivety five.
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་ཡབ་འཇིགས་མེད་རྡོ་རྗེ་དབང་ཕྱུག་དང་། །Yab Jigme Dorji Wangchuk and;
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་ཡུམ་སྐལ་བཟང་ཆོས་སྒྲོན་གཉིས་ཀྱི། །Yum Kelzang Choden.
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་དགའ་བའི་བསམ་གཏན་གླིང་གི་ཕོ་བྲང་ནང་ལུ་སྐུ་འཁྲུངས་ནུག །Born at happy palace of Samtenling.
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་དགུང་ལོ་ཆུང་འདི་(སྟེ་)བཞུགས་རུང་རང་། །Even he was too young.
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་ཕྱི་གི་རྒྱལ་ཁབ་ཤེས་ཡོན་གཟིགས། །studied in out country.
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་ནང་གི་ཐུགས་ལུ་ཡོན་ཏན་བཞེས། །Took the knowedge inside.
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་དགུང་ལོ་ཆུང་བས་གཅེས་གཅེས་ཕངས་ཕངས་འབད་རུང་ར། །Even he was too young and lovable.
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་ཕྱི་གི་རྒྱལ་ཁབ་ཞབས་ལུ་བསྐོར། །he went out countries.
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་རྒྱལ་ཁབ་མཐའ་དབུས་མེད་པར་མཐུན་ལམ་མཛད། །making friendship all over the countries.
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་ཡབ་རྗེ་དམ་པ་འགན་འཁྲི་ཕོགཔ་་་ ཡབ་རྗེ་དམ་པ་དགོངས་པ་རྫོགསཔ་ལས་བརྟེན། །Got the roles of deceased father, as the father was expired.
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་ཡབ་རྗེ་དམ་པའི་འགན་འཁྲི་ཕོག་ཆེ་འདི(སྟེ)། །Getting the roles and responsibilies of the late father.
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་དགུང་ལོ་བཅུ་དྲུག་བཞེསཔ་ད་ལུ། །At the age of sixteen.
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་ཀྲོང་གསར་ཆོས་བརྩེགས་དཔོན་སློབ་མཛད། །Became the Choethsed Penlop at trongsa
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་སྤྱི་ལོ་གཅིག་སྟོང་དགུ་བརྒྱ་བདུན་ཅུ་དོན་གཉིས་ལུ། །At the year of nineteen seventy two.
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་མི་དབང་འཇིགས་མེད་སེང་གེ་འདི། །The king Jigme Singye Wangchuk was;
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་གསེར་ཁྲི་གུ་ལུ་བྱོན་འདི་(ཏེ་)བཞུགས། །sited on the golden throne.
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་རྒྱལ་ཡོངས་དགའ་སྐྱིད་དཔལ་འཛོམས་གཞི་བཙུགས་གནང། །established the Gross National happiness.
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་མི་སེར་ཡོངས་ཀྱི་སྐྱིད་སྡུག་ལུ། །For the joys and sorrows of the citizens.
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་དམངས་གཙོའི་གཞུང་གི་ལམ་ལུགས་ནི། །the system of democracy
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་མི་སེར་ཡོངས་ལུ་གསོལ་རས་གནང་། །giving presents to the peoples
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་ང་བཅས་མི་སེར་ཡོངས་ཀྱིས། །we the citizens.
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་དུས་ནམ་ཡང་སེམས་ལས་མ་བརྗེད་པའི། །we will never forget from our heart.
- རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་བཀའ་དྲིན་དགའ་ཚོར་བསམ་འདི་(སྟེ་)ཡོད་ཟེར།། །།we feel gratitude and thankful to our king.
