I want to say about how our forefathers use to do puja. Our grandparents started the custom of Torma offering in new year. In this system we make nine types of Torma. One is called Guru torma, another one is for Siddha Shikari and four torma for four different deity called Mabung.

ཧེ་མ་་ང་བཅས་ཕམ་ཚུ་གི་ཁྱིམ་ནང་ལྷ་གསོལ་འབད་བའི་སྐོར་ལས་སླབ་དགོ་པས་ ང་བཅས་ཀྱི་ཕམ་ཚུ་གི་ལུགས་སློལ་གཅིག་འདི་འདི་ཡང་ལོ་གསར་ལུ་རྟོརམ་བཟོ་འདི་ལྷ་གསོལ་ནི་ཅིག་འདུག འདི་ག་དེ་འབད་སྨོ་ཟེར་བ་ཅིན་རྟོརམ་འདི་དགུ་བཟོ་དགོ་ དགུ་ནང་ལས་གཅིག་འདི་མ་རྟོརམ་འབད་ོབཟོ་དགོ་ དེ་ལས་གཅིག་འདི་༼ཤི་དཱ་ཤི་ཀ་རི༽ ཤ་གི་ལྷ་ལུ་བཟོ་དགོ་ དེ་ལས་ཕྱོགས་བཞི་ན་ལུ་འདི་ཕྱོག་བཞི་གི་ལྷ་ཚོགས་ཚུ་ལུ་ཨིན་ འདི་ཡང་ལྷ་གཅིག་རང་མས།

The reason for doing this is to offer torma to the deceased ancestor and we include even cock in this offering. Some make alter beside the door but we moktan make this alter straight to the door. And we spilt water over the cock and make incense offering to deity.

འདི་འབད་དགོ་མི་གི་དོན་དག་འདི་ག་ཅིག་སྨོ་ཟེར་བ་ཅིན་ཕམ་རྒས་ཤོས་ཚུ་གི་ཧེ་མ་ལས་ཤི་ཡོད་མི་ཚུ་ལུ་ལྟོ་གི་ཚབ་ལུ་རྟོརམ་བཟོ་འདི་བཟའ་བཙུགཔ་ཨིན་མས། འདི་ན་ག་ཅི་འབདཝ་སྨོ་ཟེར་བ་ཅིན་བྱ་དཔོད་གཅིག་བསད་དགོ་ ཏེ་ལ་ལོག་གི་མཆོད་ཤམ་དང་སྒོ་ཁ་སྦེ་འབདཝ་མས། ང་བཅས་སྤུན་ཆ་མོག་ཏན་འདི་ཚུ་གི་ནང་ཁོད་ཡང་སོ་སོ་ཡོད་མི་འདྲ་ ཏེ་ང་བཅས་སྤུན་ཆ་ཚུ་གི་འདི་སྒོ་ཕྲང་འདི་བཟོཝ་ཨིན། ཏེ་སྒོ་ཁ་རང་བྱ་དཔོད་འདི་ཆུ་བླུག་དེ་ལས་ལྷ་དང་དྲེ་འདི་ཚུ་ལུ་གསང་བཏང་འབད་འདི་གསོལ་བ་བཏབ་འདི་ཆུ་བླུག་དགོ་བྱ་དཔོད་འདི།

Then we offer blood to cock which is mixture of milk and flour. And to Shikari we offer an egg. This is our ancestral tradition and we are following. After offering blood, we start cutting Torma from top and taking this outside we make alter like temple. And we prepare Ningar for torma, which is actually prepared day after 30th day of the month.

ཆུ་བླུག་འདི་༼ཁྲ༽ཟེར་མི་དི་བྱིན་དགོ་ འདི་ཡང་ཨོམ་ཕྱེ་གི་བཟོ་འདི་འོང་འ་ནི་བྱི་དགོ་ དེ་ལས་ཤ་ལྷ་འདི་ལུ་སྒོང་རྡོག་གཅིག་བྱིན་དགོ ཧེ་མ་ལས་རང་ཕམ་གི་འབད་ནི་འདི་གི་ང་བཅས་ཀྱི་ཡང་འབད་དོ་ ཏེ་ཁྲ་འདི་བྱིན་འབད་ད་རུང་རྟོརམ་འདི་མགུ་ཏོ་མགུ་ཏོ་བཏོགཔ་ཨིན། ད་ལས་ཕྱི་ཁ་འབག་འབད་ད་རུང་མཆོད་ཤམ་བཟོ་དགོ་ དེ་ལས་མཆོད་ཤམ་བཟུམ་བཟོ་འབད་ཆང་ཡོད་མས་ན་འ་ནི་འདི་གཙང་ཏོག་ཏོ་འབད་བཟོ་བཟོཝ་འོང་འདི་ང་ཧེ་མ་ལས་རྟོརམ་གི་དོན་ལུ། དེ་ལས་འ་ནི་འདི་གནམ་སྒང་གི་ཉི་མ་གཉིས་གསུམ་ཅིག་གི་ཧེ་མས་ལས་རང་བཟོ་འོང་།

However it varies people to people. After this we take torma outside and we make something like temple. After Sabtami, we take torma outside but prepare alter exactly the same as before. We then offer blood to torma and we even burn incense. Then we take cock to different place to sacrifice and at alter we crack an egg. We mix poko with Torma and then we call out the name of ancestor and make offering.

ཏེ་རྟོརམ་འདི་སྒོ་བཙུགས་འོང་ དེ་ལས་ཉེར་བདུན་ལུ་འདི་སེམས་ཅན་འདི་ཚུ་བསདཔ་ཨིན་ནི་འདི་གི་ འདི་གང་འབདན་ང་བཅས་བཞགས་ནི་ཡོད་ དེ་འབདཝ་ད་འདི་གི་ཧེ་མ་འདི་བཟོཝ་ཨིན། དེ་ལས་འ་ནི་འབད་མས་དེ་འབད་འབད་དགོ་ཟེར་ག་རང་སླབ་ཨིན་ དེ་ལས་རྟོརམ་གི་མགུ་ཏོ་བཏོག་མི་འདི་ཕྱི་ཁ་འབག་འབད་ དེ་ལས་ད་རུང་མཆོད་ཤམ་བཟུམ་འབད་རང་ཧེ་མ་ག་དེ་འབད་ཡོད་འདི་བཟུམ་འབད་རང་བཟོ་བཞགས་དགོ དེ་ལས་ད་རུང་ཕར་གསང་བཏང་འབད་ དེ་ལས་ད་རུང་ཁྲ་འདི་བྱིནམ་ཨིན་འདི་འབདཝ་ད་ཁྲག་འདི་བླུག་ནི་མེད་འདི་ནང་། དེ་ལས་ཁྲ་བྱིནམ་ཞིནམ་ལས་བྱ་དཔོད་འདི་སོ་སོ་འབག་འབད་བསད་དགོ་ ཏེ་ན་འདི་སྒོང་རྡོག་བཀྲུམ་དགོ་ དེ་ལས་ཤ་འདི་རྟོརམ་དང་གཅིག་ཁར་རྟོརམ་ཆུང་ཀུ་འབད་བཏོག་སླ་བསྲེ་འདི་ དང་ཕུག་ལས་ཤི་ཡོད་པའི་ཕམ་རྒས་ཤོས་ང་བཅས་རའི་ཤེས་པའི་མིང་ སླབ་ཅིག་རང་བྱིན་དགོ དཔེར་ན་ཨ་རྒས་འ་ནི་འདི་ལུ་ཨིན་ཟེརའི་རང་གསོལཝ་ཨིན་ང་བཅས་ཀྱི།

It is as good as offering food to deceased one. This is actually offering of food to deceased one but we make Torm aand offer them. We call this as Bulo Tsangmo. And after this, we then offer to elderly people saying Ya-laso. After doing this then is finished. This is ritual related with Torma. Torma ritual is as same as offering food and we do this once in a year. We prepare sacrificed cock as a curry and we drink Bang-chang and the ends our program. That is all about Torma ritual.

ད་འ་ནི་ང་བཅས་ཀྱི་ཤི་མི་ལུ་ལྟོ་བྱིན་དོ་བཟུམ་ཅིག་རང་མས་པ་ ཏེ་ལོ་རེ་ལུ་ལྟོ་ཚ་རེ་བྱིནམ་མས་བ་ཏེ་ང་བཅས་ཀྱི་ ཏེ་ལྟོ་མེན་པ་རྟོརམ་དང་བྱ་ཤ་འབད་ཅིག་ཁར་བརྡོམ་འདི་ཨ་རྒས་འདི་ཚུ་བཞེ་བཞེ་ཟེར་སླབ་ཨིན། དེ་ལས་ཤི་མི་ལུ་བྱིན་ཚརཝ་ད་ན་ཡོད་མི་རྒས་ཤོས་ཚུ་ལུ་བྱིན་འབད་ ༼ཡ་ལ་སོ་༽ཟེར་སླབ་ཨིན་འདི་གང་ལས་མཇོགས་སོངམ་ཨིན། ད་རྟོརམ་འདི་གི་སྐོར་ལས་འདི་འ་ནི་ཅིག་རང་ཨིན་ དེ་འབདཝ་ད་རྟོརམ་འདི་ལྟོ་བྱིན་དོ་བཟུམ་ཅིག་རང་མ། ཏེ་ལོ་གཅིག་ན་ཚར་གཅིག་འདི་ཧེ་མ་ལས་རང་འ་ནི་སྦེ་འབད་ཡོད་ནི་འདི་ང་བཅས་ཀྱི་ཡང་འབད་དོ། ཏེ་དེ་ལས་བྱ་ཤ་དང་རྟོརམ་འདི་བྱིན་ དེ་མ་ཚད་རྟོརམ་གྱི་དོན་ལུ་བཟོ་ཡོད་པའི་ཆང་འདི་ཡང་བཟོ་འབད་ག་རང་ལུ་བཟའ་བཙུགཔ་ཨིན་ དེ་ལས་འཇོགཔ་ཨིན། ང་གི་འདི་དེམ་ཅིག་རང་ཨིན་ ད་རྟོརམ་གི་སྐོར་ལས་འདི་དེ་ཅིག་རང་ཨིན།
