༉ བསམ་རྩེ་རྫོང་ཁག་ རྡོ་རོ་ཁ་དྲུང་ཁག་ གཡུས་འཇིགས་མེད་ལུ་ ལྷོཔ་ཆ་ཁྱབ་ཀྱིས་ ལོ་བསྟར་བཞིན་དུ་མཆོད་དོ་ཡོད་པའི་མེ་ལོག་ཆོ་ག་འདི་ གཡུས་དེ་ནང་གི་རྒས་ཤོས་ ཨ་དོ་ཚེ་རིང་གིས་འབད་འགོ་འདྲེན་འཐབ་སྟེ་འབདཝ་ད་ གཞན་མི་ཚུ་གིས་ཡང་ལྷབ་དོ་ཡོདཔ་མས། དེ་སྦེ་འབད་མི་འདི་ ཧེ་མ་ཕ་བརྒྱུད་བུ་བརྒྱུད་འབད་དེ་འོང་བའི་ལུགས་སྲོལ་ཅིག་ཨིནམ་སྦེ་བཤདཔ་ཨིན་པས། དེ་ཡང་ ཁོང་གི་གཡུས་ཁ་ལུ་ དགའ་ཏོག་ཏོ་དང་སྐྱིད་ཏོང་ཏོ་འོང་ནི་གི་དོན་ལུ་ བྱ་པོད་ཅིག་བསད་སྦེ་ རྣམ་ཤེས་མཐོ་རིས་ལུ་དྲངས་ ཁྲག་ཚ་ཏོམ་གཡུས་དེ་ནང་གི་གཞི་བདག་དེ་ལུ་དྲངས་ཏེ་ གཞི་བདག་དེའི་གདན་ས་ལུ་བཏང་དོ་ཡོདཔ་སྦེ་བཤདཔ་ཨིན་པས། མ་གཞི་ འདི་བཟུམ་གྱི་ལུགས་སྲོལ་འདི་ ལམ་སྲོལ་ཅིག་ཨིན་ཏེ་འབད་རུང་ ཆོས་དང་འཁྲིལ་བ་ཅིན་ དམར་བསད་འབད་དེ་ཁྲག་ཚ་ཏོམ་ཕུལ་ནི་འདི་ འབྲུག་རྒྱལ་ཁབ་ཀྱི་ས་གནས་ ཐདམ་ཐད་ཁ་ལས་ཕར་ བཀག་སྡོམ་འབད་དེ་ དེ་བཟུམ་གྱི་ལུགས་སྲོལ་ངནམ་དེ་མེདཔ་ཨིན་རུང་ བསམ་རྩེ་རྡོ་རོ་ཁ་འཇིགས་མེད་ལུ་འབད་བ་ཅིན་ ད་ལྟོའི་བར་ན་ཡང་ དེ་བཟུམ་གྱི་སྲོལ་འདི་ མ་ཉམས་པར་ ཨ་རྟག་ཧ་ལུགས་སྦེ་ར་ཡོད་པའི་མངོན་གསལ་བྱུངམ་ཨིན་པས།
This shows the Lhop community doing a supplication ritual to local deities for the protection of the community from natural calamities and other misfortunes. This festival is organized to chase away the evil spirits believed to harm the people. It is considered a Bön tradition as roosters are sacrificed during the festival and offered to the local deities. This festival is conducted on the first day of seventh lunar month every year. The name of the festival is called as Melog in the local language.

- Tsho Dorjiད་རེས་ ང་གིས་ མི་ལོག་ཆོ་གུ་བཏང་དགོ་པའི་སྐོར་ལས་ སླབ་ནི་ཨིན། Today, I am going to tell about the reasons for performing Malog ritual.
- Tsho Dorjiཆོ་གུ་བཏང་དགོ་པའི་ དོན་དག་ངོ་མ་འདི་རང་ མི་ལུ་ ན་ཚ་ས་སོགས་པའི་ རྐྱེན་ངན་བར་ཆད་ཚུ་བསལ་ཐབས་དང་ མི་ཚུ་ ཆུ་གིས་ འཕྱག་བདའ་མ་བཅུག་ནི་གི་ ཐབས་ཤེས་ དེ་ལས་ རྐང་ཚིགས་ལག་ཚིགས་ལ་སོགས་པའི་ ནད་གཞི་ཚུ་ལས་ བཀག་ལུ་ཨིན། The main reason for performing the ritual is to get rid of obstacles like sickness, to stop people from being washed away by rivers and to protect people from getting physically hurt (i.e. broken legs.)
- Tsho Dorjiཆོ་གུ་བཏང་དགོ་པའི་ དོན་དག་གཅིག་འདི་ འདྲེ་དང་གསོན་འདྲེ་ཚུ་ བདའ་ཞིནམ་ལས་ ཁོང་སྡོད་སའི་ས་སྒོ་ འདི་ནང་མེན་ཟེར་ སླབ་ནིའི་དོན་ལུ་ཨིན། The other reason for performing this ritual is to chase away evil spirits and to let know the spirits that there is no place for them to reside.
- Tsho Dorjiང་བཅས་ ལྷོཔ་ཚུ་གིས་ ཆོ་གུ་འདི་ ལོ་ཨ་རྟགར་ ང་བཅས་ ལྷོཔ་གི་ ཟླཝ་ ༧ པའི་ཚེས་ ༡ ལུ་ བཏངམ་ཨིན། We Lhop perform this ritual annually on the first day of the seventh month of Lhop's calender.
- Tsho Dorjiའ་ནཱི་གི་ ལམ་ལུགས་སྲོལ་འདི་ དང་ཕུ་ ང་བཅས་ཀྱི་ ཕམ་མའི་ སྐབས་ལས་རང་འབད་དེ་ཡོདཔ་ལས་ ད་ལས་ཕར་ཡང་ ཆོ་གུ་འདི་ འཕྲོ་འཐུད་དེ་རང་འབད་ནི་ཨིན། This tradition has been practicing since our ancestors time. So, hence from now on we shall continue and perform the ritual.
