Sangay Phuntsho narrates an account of Chungkhar Barma. Barma, who belongs to the lineage of Bangtsho Choje, owns the Lhakhang at Bar Goenpa, opposite Chungkhar and facing Zobel and Shumarthang. Malik Barma and Layshing Khap also belong to the lineage of Bangtsho Choje. The Lhakhang is located in Malik Barma's land. Layshing Khap has a separate land. Due to some problem, Malik Barma moved to Kaliphu and in his absence, Layshing Khap took care of his land and the temple. Later Malik Barma returned from Kaliphu and filed a case against Layshing Khap. He ended up owning both the Lhakhang and the land.

The Lay-shing-Khap and father of Malik Barma are of same origin. It is here, the place, where they was born and where they grew up.

So, Lay-shing-Khap had their separate land.

They had to stay there for several years. The reason for them to move away was because of the critical times with China in the past.
