Changchay Durga temple was located in Dzamlingthang Gewog in Tsirang Dzongkhag. The temple was built in honor of Singha Devi and considered as a sacred site. People come and worship Singha Devi. The people of all Gewogs in Tsirang used to come together to perform the Puran ritual and the reason behind conducting it was to prevent from misfortune, suffering and threat of natural calamities. Even Tamang lamas came here and performed a masked dance. After the Puran ritual of eighteen days, all the sufferings and misfortune were erased. There are many sacred sites around the temple.
