An account of Ap Wang Drugay was shared by Tshewang from Damphu town, Tsirang Dzongkhag. Ap Wang Drugay is a popular and intellegent man from Wang under Thimphu Dzongkhag. Once he sold land to a man, claiming one cannot see the end of his field from one side with a stone in the middle of the field. So the man, believing him, paid the price Wang Drugyel demanded. Later when he went to work in the field, it became apparent that the field had a bend in the middle. So one could not see the other end, but it the field was not large, leaving the man frustrated. Later, Ap Wang Drugyal went to the same field with his only goat. The goat grazed from atop the stone in the middle of the field, since the stone had not been sold. The man again had to pay an additional amount for the stone. Thus, Wang Drugyal cleverly fetched a good price for his field.
