Video Overview
The twenty-first day of the sixth lunar month is the "deity inviting" day. All men over fifteen years and under sixty from both upper and lower villages must be present at the Makpöntönpo mound for this ceremony. Everyone gathers here to invite the deity; villagers shout, "Kikisoso!" and sprinkle wine in the air as the local guardian deity descends and offers annual greetings. Then, wine is sprinkled all around to invite thousands of other deities. Lhaba, the chief, and the villagers all perform Lhatsé briefly. People line up on the Luru performance ground for the departure of the deity with thangka-holders first, then the warriors with spears, scholars, and the others lined up by age.

藏历六月二十一日是请神日。上庄和下庄所有十五岁以上和六十岁以下的男人都要集合在"玛浑"山坡上。大家聚集在这里首先要邀请神。当神降临时， 村民们呼唤"咯咯索索"和把酒洒在空中。山神对士兵和村民们带来一年一度的问好。然后四方敬酒邀请成千上万其他的神。然后，巫师，村长和村民们一起跳一小段神舞之后准备返回。人们需要排队返回；士兵们排在前面，然后是村民。在六月会表演场上，全村又要排起队；拿着唐卡的人排在前面， 然后是拿着矛的勇士们， 学者，然后按年龄排队。
