Video Overview
During paddy plantation, it is common to include the calling of Higher Empowerments as part of agricultural activities. Said to have been performed since time immorial, during this event they call the noble families of Paro and offer them the first piece of their hard work, and request their blessings for prayers and wishes for good results from their hard work in the fields. It is performed during the time of paddy plantation at the center of the larger field in summertime.
གློག་བརྙན་འདི་ ལྕང་ལཱ་རྐྱབ་པའི་སྐབས་་སུ་ ཝང་ཟེར་བཙུགས་སྲོལ་ཡོད་པའི་སྐོར་ལས་ཨིནམ་ད་ ལམ་ལུགས་འདི་ཡང་ དེ་བསྒང་ ལྕང་ལཱ་རྐྱབ་ནི་འགོ་བཙུགས་པའི་བསྒང་ལས་ར་ བྱུང་ཡོདཔ་ཨིནམ་ད་ སྤ་རོ་གི་མི་ཚུ་གིས་ ཁོང་ར་གིས་ ལཱ་རྩ་འགེངས་ཏེ་འབད་འབད་བའི་གྲུབ་འབྲས་ལུ་ ལོ་ཐོག་གི་ཐོན་སྐྱེད་ལེགས་ཤོམ་འོང་ཐབས་ལུ་ དེ་བསྒང་ལས་ ་དྲིན་ཅན་གྱི་ཕམ་ཚུ་གིས་ ཝང་འབོ་ནི་ཟེར་འབད་ནི་ཡོདཔ་ཨིན་པས། འདི་ཡང་ ལྕང་ལཱ་རྐྱབ་པའི་སྐབས་ གཡང་ཞིང་ཟེར་ ཞིང་སྦུག་གི་ཞིང་སྦོམ་འདི་ནང་བཙུགས་དོ་ཡོདཔ་ད་ དེ་ཡང་ ལྕང་ལཱ་འགོ་བཙུགས་པའི་སྐབས་བཙུགས་དོ་ཡོདཔ་ཨིན་པས།

- བསོད་ནམས་ཨོམཏེ་རོགས་ཝང་བཙུགས་ ནི་ལས་བྱཱ་ཨ་ནེ་སྦེ་ཆག་པ་བཞི་ལྔ་བཟོ་བསྡམས་བཙུགས་ ནི་ལས་ཏེ་ནི་ནང་ལུ་རྡོག་མ་རོགས་ལ་ལུག་གིས་འདི་འདི་ཆུ་གུ་(ཆུར་སྐམ་)འ་ནི་བཟུམ་སྦེ་བཙུགསཔ་མས་ ཏེ་ང་བཅས་ན་འདི་ཏེ་ རྡོག་མ་ཅིག་ལས་འགལ་བཙུགས་ནི་མིན་འདུག རྡོ་མ་བཏགས་རྡོག་ལྔ་ གསུམ་འ་ནི་བཟུམ་སྦེ་བཙུགས་སྦེ་ ཏེ་ཏེ་ཝང་(གཡང་)འབོ་So, when The 'Wang' is planted, in a bundle of four to five paddy seedlings, and along with it, they add bettlenut and "Churkam"(dried cheese) . People put these things along with it, and we put only the bettelnuts. We put around three to five pieces of bettlenut. That is how the Wang is planted, singing the following phrases;
- བསོད་ནམས་ཨོམགནམ་འཁོར་ལོ་རྩིབས་བརྒྱད་བུམ་པའི་འོག་ལུ་གསེས། །Under the wheel of sky, held together by 8 spoke.
- བསོད་ནམས་ཨོམས་པད་མ་འདབ་བརྒྱད་བཏིང་པའི་གདན། །Lay out a matress of 8 lotus leaves on the ground.
- བསོད་ནམས་ཨོམབར་བཀྲ་ཤིས་ཁ་དར་ཚོགས་མི་ཡོངས་ལུ་ཟེར་ འ་ནི་སླབ་སྦེ་ ཏེ་ནི་ལས་ཝང་(གཡང་)འབོ་ ཏེ་ང་བཅས་རང་འ་ནེ་ ཨོམ་ས་ལ་མ་ནི་བགྱངས་ ཝང་(གཡང་)འབོ་ འ་ནི་བཟུམ་འབད་དེ་ ཏེ་དང་ཕུག་ལས་རང་འ་ནི་བཟུམ་འབད་ནི་འདུག་པ་ཡ་རོགས།In the middle, under the gathered asupicious scarves. So after chanting this, we plant the "Wang''. we also sing the "Om sala mani" while planting the "Wang". This has been an ancient practice.

- བསོད་ནམས་ཨོམདྲིན་ཅན་གྱི་ཕམ་ཚུ་གིས་ རོགས་སྔོན་གོང་ལས་རང་ཏེ་འ་ནི་བཟོ་ ཏེ་ང་བཅས་གིས་(ཀྱིས་)ཡང་ཁོང་ག་ཨིན་མི་འདི་ ཏེ་ང་བཅས་ཀྱིས་ན་ལས་ཕར་ སྤྱང་ལཱ་རྐྱབ་ད་རང་ཏེ་ཤེསཔ་ཡར་སླབ་ མ་ཤེསཔ་མར་སྦེ་སླབ་སྦེ་ང་བཅས་ཀྱིས་འ་ནེ་སྦེ་བཟོ་སྦེ་འབད་དོ་བ་ཡ་ལགས།From olden days, itself, our ancestors have created this practice and during the transplantation of paddy, those who knows, chants the complete verse and those who don't, leaves it with few verses.
- བསོད་ནམས་ཨོམཝང་(གཡང་)ཟེར་མི་ཏེ་རོགས་ ཕྱུགཔོ་ཨ་ནི་ ཞིང་་་་་ཞིང་གཡང་ཞིང་ན་འབད་ནི་འདི་གིས་ ཏེ་ཨ་ནི་གཡང་དང་འ་ནི་ཚུ་པུ་ར་(ག་ར)ན་སྐྱེལ་ཟེརཝ་ ཝང་སྐྱེལ་ལོ་ ཐུད་སྐྱེལ་ལོ་གསེས་སླབ་མི་ཚུ་ཏེ་ ཚིག་འ་ནི་ཚུ་འ་ནེ་འབད་མི་འདི་ ཏེ་རོགས་འ་ནི་གཡང་ཞིང་འབད་ནི་འདི་གིས་ ཏེ་སྦུག་ལས་ཝང་(གཡང་)བཙུགས་ འ་ནི་བཟུམ་འབདཝ་མས།So this "wang'' is planted in the field of essence of prosperity. So anything with regards to the essence of prosperity is planted in this field. Since this is the field of essence of prosperity, the "Wang'' is planted, right in the middle of the field.
- བསོད་ནམས་ཨོམའ་ནི་བཟུམ་སྦེ་ དང་ཕུག་ལས་རང་ཏེ་རོགས་ ང་བཅས་ཕམ་ དྲིན་ཅན་གྱི་ཕམ་ཚུ་གིས་སྔོན་གང་ལས་རང་འ་ནེ་འབད་སྦེ་ཏེ་རོགས་ ཁོང་ག་འབད་མི་འདི་ཏེ་ང་བཅས་ད་རེས་ ཁོང་བཟུམ་ཅིག་མ་ཤེས་རུང་ང་བཅས་ཀྱིས་རྟེན་འབྲེལ་གྱི་ཚུལ་ཅིག་སྦེ་ ཏེ་འ་ནི་བཟུམ་སྦེ་འབད་སྦེ་བཙུགསཔ་ཨིན་ཏེ།This has been the practice, since time immemorial, and we have been practising it. although we won't be able to sustain the originality, but as a sign of good omen.
