Aum Lemo and her friends from Trongsa Dzongkhag sing in this video “Jayi Yueley Thoenpai,” which could be translated as “[Products] Originating from India.” The song talks about making auspicious offerings to the gods and the buddhas of the past, present and future. Firstly, an offering of special scarfs and brocade from India are made to the above-mentioned gods and buddhas. Offerings of corals from Tibet and golden liquor from the south are also made to the meditating gods and the three buddhas. Lastly, one’s own dances and songs are offered to please figures meditating on the hills. Thus, through such offerings one wishes to please the spiritual figures.
