Dorji Bidha from Bongo Gewog (county) in Chukha district, sings an old Zhungdra (Bhutanese classical) song called "Jana Yul Gi Phajab" (On the Other Side of China). This song is comprised by slow and long tunes and is always performed in a straight line with a leader in the middle. He/she is the one who will lead the dance steps and the rest of the performers will synchronize their moves according to his/her lead. The song tells of a queen called Dramzay Gyem who gave birth to three sons and each son was believed to be the body, mind and speech incarnations of Buddha. As the song is a religious song, it is performed in any kind of auspicious celebration, gathering and ceremony.
