Karma Yangzom and her friends from Borongmang village in Sakteng Gewog (county), sing a song that was practiced in their village since long ago. They do not remember who had composed the song, they learned it from their village elders. According to the group the youth are not very interested in learning from the elders, rather they are influenced by Western pop songs and music. The context of the traditional song reveals people being subject to change over time. Therefore the lyrics request some of the sacred objects, natural elements and figures to remain as they were and resist change.
