ངའི་མིང་ལ་ཚེ་རིང་རྣམ་རྒྱལ་ཟེར་གྱི་ཡོད།

My name is Tséring Namgyel.

ཕྱི་ལོ་ 1976 ལོ་ལ་ལྷ་སར་སྐྱེས་པ་རེད།

I was born in Lhasa in 1976.

ང་རི་མོ་སྦྱངས་ས་ནི་བོད་ལྗོངས་སློབ་གྲྭ་ཆེན་མོའི་སྒྱུ་རྩལ་ཚན་ཁག་ནས་སྦྱངས་པ་རེད།

I am an art graduate from the Department of Arts, Tibet University.

ལྟ་རི་མོའི་འགྲོ་སྟངས་དང་དེ་འདྲའི་ངོས་ནས་བཤད་ན། དེ་སྔོན་ལྟ་འདྲ་མིན་འདྲ་དེ་འདྲས་གཅིག་རི་མོའི་འབྲི་ལུགས་འབྲི་སྟངས་སྣ་ག་མང་པོ་སློབ་སྦྱོང་བྱས་བྱས་བྱས།

Concerning my artistic training, I studied different styles of paintings.

ཨཱ་ནི་འཇུག་ཏུ་ལྟ་ད་ལྟའི་ལྟ་བོད་ཀྱི་རི་མོ་འདི་བོད་རིགས་ལྟ་ང་རང་ཚོའི་ལྡིབས་རིས་དང་འདི་འདྲ་སྒང་ནས་བྱུང་བའི་རི་མོ་དེ་དཔེ་མི་སྲིད་པའི་ཡག་པོ་མཐོང་ཙང་། བྱས་ཙང་དེ་ནས་བྱས་བོད་ཀྱི་ལྡིབས་རིས་ཀྱི་རི་མོ་དང་། བོད་ཀྱི་རི་མོའི་འདའི་གང་སྤྲིའི་ཐད་རི་མོ་འབྲི་ལུགས་འབྲི་ལུགས་སྟངས་དེ་འདྲ་ལ་ཞིབ་འཇུག་ཏིག་ཙམ་བྱས་བྱས།

In the course of my studying, later I found that the Tibetan traditional wall painting particularly interesting. So since from that onward, I studied various aspects of this conventional painting and did some research about its approach.

དེའི་སྒང་ལ་དེང་དུས་རི་མོའི་བསམ་ཚུལ་དང་། དེ་ནས་འབྲི་ལུགས་འབྲི་སྟངས་རྩ་བའི་ལྟ་ག་རེ་ཟེར་དགོས་ཀྱི་རེད། འབྲི་ལུགས་འབྲི་སྟངས་གསར་པའི་མཚོན་ཡིན་ནའི་འདྲ་ད་དུང་རི་མོའི་གོ་རིམ་འགྲོ་སྟངས་ལྟ་ཚང་མའི་སྒང་ལ་ཨཱ་ནི་གསར་པ་དང་གནའ་སྔ་མོའི་བོད་ཀྱི་རི་མོའི་འདའི་ཟླ་བསྒྲིལ་བཏང་བྱས་འདུག་སེ་བྱུང་བའི་རི་མོའི་ལྟ་འབྲི་ལུགས་འབྲི་སྟངས་གཅིག་(རེད།)

On addition to these, I studied modern art theories and practices, including various new styles of paintings, application of paints, artistic approaches, and so on. I am creating something that combines new methods with the Tibetan traditional style of creating arts.

འདིའི་འབྲི་ལུགས་འབྲི་ལུགས་དེ་ཡིན་ན། དེའི་སྒང་ལ་དུས་ཚོད་མང་པོ་འདུག་སེ་བྱས་བྱས་གཅིག་འདྲ་མིན་འདྲ་བཟོ་ཡག་དང་དེ་འདྲས། གཅིག་རྙིང་པ་བཟོ་ཡག་དང་། དེ་ནས་གང་རེད་མཚོན་གཅིག་མ་རེད། སྣ་ག་འདྲ་མིན་འདྲ་བྲིས་ཡག་ལ་སོགས་པ་འདི་འདྲས་ལ་འདི་བྱས་བྱས་ཞིབ་འཇུག་བྱས་བྱས་འདུག་སེ་བྱས། གསར་པ་འབྲི་ཡག་འདུག་སེ་ཡིན།

On that approach, I spent quite a lot of time to create them, and experiment with different colors, and so on.

ཨཱ་ནི་ལྟ་ད་ལྟ་དཔེ་ཆ་བཞག་ན། དེ་སྔོན་དུས་ཚོད་ལོ་གཉིས་ལྷག་ཙམ་རིང་ལྡིབས་རིས་རྙིང་པ་དཔེ་བཤུས་བྱས་འདུག་སེ་བསྡད་བྱས་བྲིས་བྱས་བསྡད་བྱས། འདུག་སེ་བསྡད་བྱས་དུས་ཚོད་ལོ་གཉིས་ལྷག་ཙམ་བསྡད་པ་ཡིན། ལྟ་དེ་བྱིངས་ལ་ད་ལྟ་སོ་སོའི་མཚོན་སོ་སོའི་རི་མོའི་ལྟ་རྣམ་པ་མཚོན་པའི་རི་མོ་ར་ཅིག་འདུག་སེ་བྲིས་བྱས།

For example, for two years, I spent my time copying old wall-paintings. Later, I developed my style based on my studies.

ཨཱ་ནི་ཐེངས་དང་པོ་གྲས་ལ་ལྟ་བོད་ཀྱི་ཆོས་ནང་ལོགས་ཀྱི་གང་ཟེར་དགོས་ཀྱི་རེད། བར་མདོའི་འབྲེལ་བ་བྱས་བྱས་ཨཱ་ནི་རི་མོ་མང་པོ་ཞིག་བྲིས་པ་ཡིན། དེ་བྲིས་བྱས་དེ་བྱིངས་ལ་ཡང་ལྟ་ད་ལྟའི་རི་མོའི་དཔེ་མཚོན་འདི་ལ་སོགས་པ་ལྟ་བོད་ཀྱི་དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་གྱི་རྨང་གཞི་འདི་ཚུར་སློབ་སྦྱོང་བྱས། ཨཱ་ནི་འདིའི་ནང་ཁུལ་ལ་ལྟ་བྲིས་ཡག་གི་རི་མོ། དེང་ཐོག་གི་རི་མོ་དང་འབྲེལ་བ་བྱས་བྱས་བྲིས་པ་ཡིན།

In my early works, I created many paintings based on the Tibetan Buddhist theme of Bardo. Later, I studied the basic of Tibetan [Buddhist] mandalas and started creating a modern rendition of this traditional theme.

ལྟ་འདིའི་ནང་ལོགས་ཀྱི་སེམས་ཅན་དང་དེ་ཚོ་མང་ཆས་ཡིན་ན་ཨཱ་ནི་ལ་ད་ལྟའི་འཛམ་གླིང་ཐོག་གནས་བྱས་མཐོང་ཡག་ཡོད་པའི་སེམས་ཅན་མ་རེད། ལྟ་གཟུགས་ལ་བལྟས་ན་ཡང་ཨོའོ་འདི་འདྲ་པོ་ཞིག་འདུག འདི་འདི་འདྲ་པོ་ཞིག་འདུག་བཤད་ཡོག་ཡོད་པ་ར་ཅིག་ལྟ། ཨེ་འདྲ་བྱས་བྱས་ཚེ་སྔོན་མ་ཟེར། དུས་སྔས་མ་གི་སེམས་ཅན་འདྲ་མིན་སྣ་ཚོག་ག་ལེར་ག་ལེར་སྟོང་ཕྱིན་པ་དང་། དེ་འདྲས་ར་ཅིག་གི་མཚོན་བྱེད། ཅིག་འཛམ་བུ་གླིང་ཐོག་གི་སྒོར་སྒོར་གཅིག་སྒང་དེར་ཨེ་འདྲས་ར་ཅིག་བྱས།

In this piece, the various animals inside this painting do not exist today. If you look at their appearances, they appear to be familiar to you, like some of the primitive animals extinct from the planet. And the circular shape of the painting represents the earth.

སྒྲོམ་འདི་བཟོ་ལྟ་འདི་འདྲ་བཟོ་ཡག་དེ་ནི་ཡང་རྒྱ་མཚན་གཅིག་ཡོག་རེད། སྔས་མ་དང་པོར་རི་མོ་བྲིས་དུས་ཙམ་ལ་ང་རི་མོ་ཞིབ་ཞིབ་འབྲི་ཡག་ལ་དགའ་པོ་ཡོད་པ། ཨཱ་ནི་ཞིབ་ཞིབ་མང་པོ་བྲིས་བྱས། བྱས་ཙང་ལྟ་རི་མོ་དགེ་རྒན་ལ་སོགས་རྣམས་ཀྱི་བལྟས་བྱས་ལྟ་འདུག་སེ་བྲིས་ནས་རི་མོ་དེ་དཀའ་ངས་ཁག་པོ་ཞིག་འདུག་ལབ་བྱས།

Creating this non-traditional shaped canvas has a reason for doing so. I used to create paintings with dense contents. My art instructors and others find my work extremely painstaking.

ལྟ་ཞིབ་ཞིབ་དེ་ཕར་ཞིབ་ཞིབ་དེ་གྲུ་བཞི་གྲུ་རྐྱང་ཕར་བླུགས་བཞག་ན་ཞིབ་ཞིབ་ཚ་རུ་འགྲོ་མཁན་བཟོ་ལྟ་ར་ཅིག་དཀའ་ངལ་ཁག་པོ་ཞེ་པོ་ཆགས་ཀྱི་འདུག་ག ཨ་ནི་དེ་ནས་བྱས་ངས་ཁོང་ཚོ། ཁོང་ཚོ་ཟེར་ལྟ་སྒྲོམ་ར་འདི་འདུག་སེ་བྱས་ཕར་ཚུར་གྲུ་བཞི་གྲུ་རྐྱང་མིན་པ་བྱས་ལྟ་གང་ལྟར་གཅིག་ནས་མ་ཚང་བའི་བཟོ་ལྟ། ལྷོད་ཤིང་འདི་འདྲས་འགྲོ་ཡག་ཆགས་ཀྱི་འདུག འོ་འདུག་སེ་བསམ་བློ་བཏང་བྱས་ཞུ་གུའི་རི་མོའི་འབྲི་སྟངས་ར་དེ། ལྟ་འོ་འདི་འདྲས་ཀྱི་ལམ་ལ་ཕྱིན་པ་རེད།

When I put the content on a square canvas, I found it became even denser and made it extremely hard to create it. So I changed the shape of the canvas which is now not exactly square. It gives you a sense of spaciousness and not constrained by rigidity. I applied this new approach to some of my current works.

ད་ལྟ་ལྟ་ང་ཚོ་ལོ་ཆུང་ཆུང་བྱས་འགོ་ཚུགས་ཙམ་རེད་པ། འཇུག་མ་ཡང་ལམ་གང་འདྲ་ར་ཅིག་འགྲོ་འགྲོ་ཡོད་མེད་ལྟ་ཧ་སེ་གོ་ཡག་མི་འདུག ད་ལྟའི་བྲིས་པའི་རི་མོ་དགའ་ཤས་ལ་ང་རང་དགའ་པོ་ཞེ་དྲག་ཡོད།

Currently, we are still young and have just started exploring and experimenting. So I don't know what kind of path this will lead me to. I like some of the works I created.

དགའ་པོ་མེད་པའི་རི་མོ་བྲིས་བྱས། བྲིས་ཚར་ནས་དགའ་པོ་མི་བྱུང་བའི་རི་མོ་ཆོག་ཏོ་ཡོང་མྱོང་ཡོད།

There are also some paintings that I don't like after creating them. In fact, they are quite a few of them.
