- DAMशेराङ् गुम्बामा आठ वर्ष देखि बिसवर्ष सम्म बसेँ।(I) lived in Serang monastery from eight to twenty years old.

- TEKतपाइँको वरिपरि साथीहरू थिए कि थिएनन्?Were there friends around you or not?
- DAMसाथि साथि हामी दुई जना मान्छे थियौँ।There were only we two friends.
- DAMयो आए पछि छिटो छिटो खेततिर कुद्यौँ।We ran towards the field fast when there was the earthquake.

- DAMमन्त्र जप्यौ कि, साम्बाराङ्जिन् बर्जिन मन्त्र जप्नुभयो (पढ्नुभयो)?Did you chant the hymns, did you recite the Sambarangjin hymns?

- TEKयो राती छ नि भुकम्प आए पछि कहाँ सुत्नु भएको थियो?In the night, after the earthquake hit, where did you sleep?
- DAMसबै जना खेतमै सुत्यौँ।(We) all slept in the field.
- TEKगाउँले सबै खेतमाAll villagers in the field?
- DAMगाउँले सबै खेतमा बसे।All villagers lived in the field.
- TEKत्यो राती बाहिर सुत्दा खेरिWhile sleeping in the field,
- TEKके के दुख भयो, खाना खाने,What kind of hardship did you get, such as the food to eat,
- TEKसमयमा खाना खान पाउनु भएन किperhaps, you did not get the food to eat in the right time?

- TEKभुकम्प आउँदा कति दिन बाहिर सुत्नु भयो?How many days did you sleep outside when there was the earthquake?
- DAMप्रायजसो (मान्छे) खेतमा सुते, खेतमा मान्छेको मकै,Almost all people slept in the field, (there) was corn in the field.
- DAMआउँदा खेरि फेरिAs it came again,
- DAMमाथि पाल टाँगेर सुत्यौँ।(We) slept fixing the tents.
- DAMपालमै बसेँ, पालमा एक महिना भन्दा बढी बसेँ।(We) slept in the tent, (I) slept under the tent more than a month.
- DAMबसेर सुतेँ।(I) slept.
- DAMयता मिलको घट्टमा केही समय सुत्यौँ।(We) slept in the grinding stone (mill) for some time.
- DAMघर बस्न लायक नै छैन, यता घर पनि,The house is not good to live in, the house this side as well,
- DAMअनि बस्ने ठाउँ नै छैन।there is no place to live.
- DAMआगो फुक्ने ठाउँ पनि थिएन।There was no place to light the fire.
- DAMघर भित्र छिर्ने ठाउँ नै थिएन।There was no place to go into the house.
- DAMसामान राख्ने ठाउँहरू, त्यो सामान,The place to keep the goods, and those things
- DAMझ्याम् झुम भएछ, यो रक्सी पार्ने भाँडा(pots) were broken completely.
- DAMसबै कच्याक कुचुक भएछ।All were pressed badly.
- TEKअब यो भुकम्प आए देखि यो हाम्रो वरिपरि मान्छेहरू,After the earthquake hit (came), this the men around us,
- TEKहाम्रो वरिपरिको मान्छेहरूलाई चोटपटकthe people around us were wounded,
- TEKभएको छ कि छैन?(are they) wounded or not?
- DAMयो हाम्रो माथिबाट एउटा मान्छे मर्यो।A man (living) above us died.
- DAMअरू यताउति केही चोटपटक लागेन (भएन)।There were no injuries around there except this.
- DAMमान्छेलाई त खासै चोटपटक लागेन।People were not wounded at all.
- TEKहाम्रो गाउँमा माने छन्।There are Manis in our village.
- TEKहैन त? छोर्तेन छन्, गुम्बा छन्।aren't they? There are Chorten, and monastries.
- TEKधेरै छन् हैन? यिनीहरूलाई असर परेको (चोट लागेको) छ कि छैन?There are many, right? Are they affected?
- DAMअहिले यता कानेThere are Kane (space in the house),
- DAMकाने (छोर्तेनको भित्र छिर्ने ठाउँ) चाहिँ भत्क्यो।The placeto go into the house fell down.
- DAMकाने अहिले बनाउने, अहिले बनाउन बाँकि छ।Kane is still to be repaired (made),it is yet to be repaired.
- DAMमानेहरू फेरि यता योThe Manes again in this side,
- DAMप्रायोजन गरे, बनायो, बनायो, माथि केटाहरू(they) sponsered it, repaired, the boys up there,
- DAMमाने बनाए।(they) built Mane.
- DAMयो केटीहरु मानेको (वरिपरि) घुमे।These girls walked round Mani.
- DAMबाज गुरु (यो मन्त्रको नाम) बोले र यस्तो गरे।They recited Baj Guru hymn,and did like this..

- TEKयो माने बनाउनको लागि कति दिन लाग्यो?How long did it take to make (repair) this Mane?
- DAMमाने बनाउन एक दिन केटाहरूIn order to make (repair)Mane, the boys,

- DAMगाउँले सबैजना थिए।there were all villagers.

- DAMयो छ नि यता माने धुन्क्युर चाहिँ पूरै भत्क्यो।This one, this one in particular, Mane Dhunkyur has completely

- DAMयो माने चाहिँ पूरै भत्क्यो।This Mane has completely fallen down.

- DAMछुकाङ् गुम्बाहरू यो सबैThe Chukang monastery, this all,
- DAMबनाएको छैन।(this one) has not been built.
- DAMछोकोङ् गुम्बा (मा) चाहिँ धेरै (भुकम्प) आएन।The earthquake in Chokong monastery did not hit much.
