Aum Lemo narrates a story about a girl named Bada Chenmi Rinzi and the leader of a village, Rithoe Namgay Phuntsho. Due to karmic connection, they were unknown to each other when they were in their mothers' womb. But as they came to know each other, they fell in love. Around the time Rinzi became pregnant, Phuntsho was ordered to war by the king. His greedy sister Mashay Chem forced Rinzi to do a lot of labor. Rinzi gave birth to her son where the slaves lived, and covered the baby with a piece of black cloth woven from yak's fur. She learned Phuntsho would never return. The slaves helped Rinzi escape to the village where she lived happily with her parents.

    The girl's parents denyed saying that she is the only child in their family but he insisted then and then with the preparation of drinks and tea, with expensive carpet and a gold platted saddle on the horse, she was taken as his bride.

    As his bride, she was made to sit on the silver throne and he on the golden one. Their moon like faces reflected into the sky and the rays from the sky reflected back on their thorne. They celebrated their times of happiness with their infinite wealth and one day, she became pregnant.

    From the day she became pregnant, he was ordered by the king to lead the war. He could not deny the order and then he went for the war.

    Before he went to war, she had a luxurious life, she would sit on the plied up of thick mats, her food would be covered with meat, her drinks would be tea and alcohol, she would wear two to three different necklace, she would always sing and chant when her lips were free, her fingures would always count money and she would enjoy herself from the balcony as she had hundered and five slaves working under her.

    In the meantime, he was assigned to go for the war. He had a sister called Mashay Chem who was greedy to hand over their wealth to the outsiders as women are more attached to wealth and greedy. So, the sister thought that it would be better to keep the wealth for herself rather then letting her in-law to have it.

    ཏེ་ཡུདཔ་ཅིག་ཁ་ལས་ ཏེ་མོ་མར་རྒྱམོ་གི་གྲལ་བཙུགས་ད་ནུག ཏེ་མོ་མར་རྒྱ་མོའི་གྲལ་བཙུགས་ ཏེ་དེ་ལས་ཏེ་རྒྱམོ་གིས་ལཱ་འབད་མི་ རྒྱམོ་ཁལ་ལྔ་དང་ལྔ་གི་ལཱ་འདི་ ཏེ་དེ་ལས་ཏེ་ཁོང་དང་འདྲན་འདྲ་མོ་འབད་བཅུག ཏེ་དེ་ལས་ཏེ་མོ་གི་ཨ་ལོ་འདི་ཡང་ རྒྱམོ་དང་འདྲན་འདྲ་ ཏེ་མར་རྒྱམོ་སྡོད་སའི་ཨོག་ཁང་ནང་ ཏེ་ཨ་ལོ་འདི་སྐྱེས་ ཁོང་གཉིས་ཀྱི་སྲས་འདི་ཡང་མར་འཁྲུངས་ ཏེ་ཨ་ལོ་གི་སྤུ་རས་ཡང་ [ཞམ་?] གནག་དུང་ནང་སྤུར་སྦེ།
    Slowly, she was put with the slaves (by his sister), and she was made to do all the works that hundered and five slaves does. She gave birth to a son in that ground floored room where the slaves lived, her was son was covered by a piece of black cloth made out of yak's fur.

    ཏེ་དེ་ལས་ ཏེ་ཉིམ་གཅིག་རྒྱམོ་ཁལ་ལྔ་དང་ལྔ་གི་ཆུ་འདི་མོ་གིས་དབོགས་ ཉིམ་གཅིག་རྒྱམོ་ཁལ་ལྔ་དང་ལྔའི་ཡོས་ཁལ་ལྔཔོ་འདི་མོ་གིས་བརྔོ་ ཉིམ་གཅིག་ནོར་ཁལ་ལྔ་བདའ་ནོར་འཚོ་ ཡུདཔ་ཅིག་ཁ་ལས་རྐངམ་གྱི་རྟིངམ་ཡོད་རུང་སེར་གག་ གདོང་དེ་ཡང་ཏེ་ ཨོ་མའི་ནང་ཁྲག་ཡ་ཡཝ་བཟུམ་ ཁ་དོག་ག་ནི་བ་ལེགསཔ་འདི་ ཏེ་ཡུདཔ་ཅིག་ཁ་ལས་གདོང་འདི་བལྟ་བཏུབ་ དེ་ནང་ཡང་མེདཔ་སྦེ་ རྔམས་ཏོག་ཏོ་ཐལ།
    One day, she would fetch the wather that slaves used to fetch, the another day, she would parch the barley that slaves use to do, the next day, she would look after hundered cattles. After few days, her ankles were cracked, her beautiful face which looked like milk with droplets of blood, turned ugly and unpresentable.

    ཏེ་རྒྱམོ་འདི་ཚུ་གིས་ ཏེ་རོགས་མོ་ཡར་བཙུནམོ་འབད་སྡོད་པའི་སྐབས་དེ་ལུ་ མོ་གིས་རྒྱམོ་ག་ལུ་ཡང་ཉེ་རིང་མ་ཕྱེ་བ་ ཏེ་འ་ནཱི་རོགས་ རི་སྟོད་རྣམ་རྒྱལ་ཕུན་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་སྲིངམོ་འདི་གིས་རྒྱམོ་ལུ་ཡང་མ་དགའཝ་མས་ མོ་གིས་གནམ་མེད་ས་མེད་ནེམ་འབད་དེ་བཙུགས་བཙུགསཔ་ [འགག་འགག་?]གིས་ནེམ་འབད་ འབད་ཚུགས་རུང་མ་ཚུགས་རུང་ ཟ་མ་ཚུགས་པའི་ལྟོ་ལྷག་ག་ར་ཁོང་ལུ་བྱིན་ ཏེ་རོགས་མོ་ལྷོད་པའི་ཉིམ་ལས་དགའ་ཏོག་ཏོ་འབད་འབདཝ་སྦེ་ ཏེ་རྒྱམོ་ཚུ་གིས་ཡང་ཏེ་མོ་གིས་ལེགས་ཤོམ་འབད་འབདཝ་སྦེ་ ཏེ་རྒྱམོ་འདི་ཚུ་གིས་ ཏེ་མོ་ལུ་ཆ་རོགས་འབད་དེ་ ད་ཁྱོད་དེ་སྦེ་ན་བཞུགས་པ་ཅིན་ ཏེ་ད་ལེགས་ཤོམ་མེན་པས་ ང་བཅས་ཡང་མནོ་བསམ་གཏང་མི་ཚུགས་པས་ཟེར་ ད་ཁྱོད་འ་ནཱི་འབད་བའི་བསྒང་ལས་ ད་ང་བཅས་དོན་ཧིང་ཟུག་རྐྱབ་མས་ ད་ཁྱོད་ར་ཡར་ ཏེ་ཁྱོད་ར་གི་རི་སྟོད་གཡུས་ལུ་ ཏེ་ཁྱོད་ར་ཡར་ལོག་བྱོན་པ་ཅིན་ ཏེ་ང་བཅས་ཀྱིས་སྐྱེལ་གེ་ཟེར་ ཏེ་མོ་གིས་བཏུབ་ཟེར།
    During her happy days as the queen of Rithoe Namgay, she never did partiality among the slaves but sister, Mashay Chem always disliked the slaves, she made them do all the works and they were given with the leftover foods by the sister. But after the arrival of Badha chengi Rinzi, slaves were treated well and because of that, slaves were unhappy to see her suffering. The slaves asked her to leave that place and go back to her parents so she also agreed.

    As it was confirmed from the order sent to his family [if it was today, then telephone can be used instead of order] that Rithoe Namgay would never return, so one day, slaves helped her to escape from a hole known as 'ghay-ka' which is usually found the the traditional houses and if the hole is removed then a person can easily pass through.

    As slaves found her presence in that place as useless thing, they helped her to reach her village where her parents lived.

    ཏེ་མོ་ཉམས་འདི་ མར་དགའ་མ་ཚུགས་པས་ ཏེ་ལོག་སྟེ་ར་ ཏེ་མོ་ར་ཕ་དང་བུ་ ལས་དང་སྨོན་ལམ་མ་རྫོགས་ ཐ་དམ་ཚིག་ལས་རྒྱུ་འབྲས་འདི་མ་རྫོགས་པར་འབད་ནི་འདི་གིས་ ཏེ་མོ་ར་ཕམ་གཉིས་ཀྱི་སྐྱིད་སྡུག་བལྟ་ ཕ་མའི་ཞབས་སར་ལོག་ནི་ཡོདཔ་སྦེ་ ཏེ་དེ་ལས་ཏེ་མོ་ཉམས་འདི་འ་ཡི་ནང་དགའ་མས་ཟེར།
    So, she could not enjoy her life at Rithoe's place but due to the undying prayers and the cause and effects of life, she returned back to her parents. She helped her parents and then once again, lived happily with her parents.

    ཏེ་ང་བཅས་ ཧེ་མའི་རོགས་མཁས་མཆོག་ཚུ་གིས་ ཏེ་ང་བཅས་ར་གཞོནམོ་སྦེ་སྡོདཔ་ད་ ཏེ་ཁོང་གིས་སླབ་ས་གོ་སྟེ་ ཏེ་ད་རིས་ང་གིས་ཡང་ན་དང་ཕུ་གི་དཔེ་གཏམ་འདི་ ག་གི་འདི་བཟུམ་ ཏེ་སླབ་མི་ག་གིས་ཡང་མིན་འདུག་མནོ་སྟེ་ ང་གིས་ཆུང་ཀུ་ཅིག་ན་ཞུ་ཞུཝ་ཨིན།
    I heard these proverbs from experts when I was young and I am sharing this old proverbs because no one shares this kind of old provers today.
  • ཨམ་གླེ་མོ་ Aum Lemo
    ཏེ་དཔེ་འདི་ཨའ་ནཱི་ཨིན། ཏེ་ད་རིས་ཀྱི་གཉེན་དང་འགྲོགས་ ཕོ་རྒྱ་དང་ཨམ་སྲུ་འདི་ཚུ་ ཏེ་ལ་ལུ་རེ་རེ་གཉིས་གཉིས་འདི་དཀའཝ་སྤྱདཔ་མས། ཏེ་མང་ཤོས་རང་ཉམས་དགའ་ཏོག་ཏོ་སྡོད་མི་འདི དཀའཝ་འདི་ཧེ་མ་ལས་མོ་གིས་ ང་བཅས་ཨམ་སྲུ་གི་ དཀའཝ་འདི་སྤྱད་ཚར་ནི་དེ་གིས་ ཏེ་ད་རིས་ཉམས་དགའ་ཡི་ཟེར་མི་འདི་ ང་བཅས་རོགས་ཀྱིས་མཁས་མཆོག་ཚུ་གིས་སླབ་ས་དགོ་ཡི་ལགས། དཔེ་འདི་འ་ནཱི་སྦེ་ཨིན་མས་ ཟེར་ཞུ་ནི་ལགས།། །།
    So, with this as an example, what experts used to say is, today most of the couples lives happily together without much difficulties and that is also because the difficulties and hardships of women had already been suffered by the girl, Badha chengi Rinzi. So, this was the example.
