Dungsampai Khoray is a song that is said to have been sung as early as 1755. Ap Lepo of Nangkhor village performed this song, which is a khoray sung mainly to get rid of fear while crossing unstable bridges or walking along dangerous cliffs while undertaking a long journey.

གདུང་བསམ་པའི་ཁོ་རེ་འདི་ ཧེ་མ་ལས་འཐེན་ཡོདཔ་ལས་ གདུང་བསམ་པད་མ་དགའ་ཚལ་ལུ་ ཁོ་རེ་འཐེན་ནི་འདི་ ལམ་སྲོལ་གཅིག་ཨིན་མས། གླུ་གཞས་འདི་འབྲུག་རྒྱལ་ཁབ་ནང་ སྤྱི་ལོ་༡༧༥༥་ལུ་དར་ནུག། གདུང་བསམ་པའི་ཁོ་རེ་འདི་ པད་མ་དགའ་ཚལ་གཡུས་ནང་སྐོར་ལས་ཨཔ་ལེ་པོ་གིས་འཐེན་ནུག  ཨཔ་ལེ་པོ་གི་ཁོ་རེ་འདི་ ལམ་སྲོལ་རྒྱུན་སྐྱོང་འབད་ནིའི་དོན་ལུ་དང་ ན་གཞོན་ཚུ་ཁོ་རེ་ལུ་སྤྲོ་བ་བསྐྱོད་བཅུག་ནིའི་དོན་ལུ་ འཐེནམ་ཨིན་མས། ཧེ་མ་འབད་བ་ཅིན་གླུ་གཞས་ཁོ་རེ་འདི་ ང་བཅས་རའི་ཁྱིམ་ཚང་རྒྱལ་ཁབ་བོད་དང་རྒྱ་གར་ལུ་ ཚོང་འབྲེལ་འཐབ་པར་འགྱོ་བའི་སྐབས་འཐེནམ་ཨིན་མས། ཧེ་མ་འབྲུག་རྒྱལ་ཁབ་ལུ་ ད་རེས་ནངས་པར་བཟུམ་ འཁོར་ལམ་མེདཔ་ལས་ ག་ཏེ་འགྱོ་རུང་རྐང་འགྲུལ་འབད་དེ་ འགྱོ་དགོཔ་ལས་གླུ་གཞས་ཁོ་རེ་འདི་ ཉེན་ཁ་ཅན་གི་ཟམ་པ་དང་བྱག་གཟར་དྲགས་ཚུ་ བརྒལ་བའི་སྐབས་ འདྲོག་ནི་གསང་ནིའི་དོན་ལུ་འཐེནམ་ཨིན་མས།

    དེ་འབདཝ་ད་ལུ་ ད་ ད་རེས་ནངས་པའི་དུས་ཚོད་ཀྱི་གནས་སྟངས་དང་ཁྲིལཝ་ད་ལུ་ ཏེ་དང་ཕུ་གི་ཁོ་རེད་གླུ་གཞས་ཚུ་ ཏེ་ཡལ་སུ་ཡལ་སུ་སྦེ་ ཏེ་སྤྲོ་བ་བསྐྱེད་དེ་བདག་འཛིན་ཐབ་སྟེ་ དང་ཕུ་ཕམ་ཚུ་གིས་འཐེན་མི་ཚུ་ གནམ་མེད་ས་མེད་ཅིག་མི་མཐོང་པས་ ཟེར་ཞུ་ནི།
    But at present situation before sung a Khoray song by our parents and take cared with their interest were fast disappearing

    ཨིན་རུང་ ང་ཡང་ ལོ་ན་ཚོད་རྒས་འགྱོ་ ཧེ་མའི་ ང་བཅས་བ་སྦོམ་ ཨང་རྒས་ཨ་རྒས་ཚུ་ རང་གི་ཕོ་རྒནམོ་དང་ཨ་ཞིམ་ཚུ་གིས་ དང་ཕུ་ང་བཅས་རའི་གདུང་བསམ་པའི་གླུ་གཞས་ངོ་མ་འདི་རང་ ཏེ་ཁོ་རེད་གླུ་གཞས་འདི་ཨིན་ཟེར་ སླབ་སྲོལ་འདུག དེ་འབད་ནི་འདི་གིས་ ང་གིས་ཡང་འཐེན་ལྟ་ཡི་ཟེར་ཞུ་ནི།
    and not seeing much. Even then I am also become old. Before who were older than us like grandmother, grandfather, our brothers and sisters said, before our main Dungsam's song were Khoray. That is why I also sung a Khoray.

    ཏེ་ད་ ད་ལྟོ་ལོག་འཐེན་བལྟཝ་ད་ ག་དེ་སྦེ་ཚགས་ཁར་ཚུད་འོང་ག་ ཏེ་ཨིན་རུང་ དང་ཕུ་གི་གླུ་གཞས་ཅིག་འབད་ནི་དེ་གིས་ ཏེ་ང་གིས་སྤྲོ་བ་གི་ཐོག་ལས་འབད་དེ་ མ་འོངས་པ་ ང་བཅས་རའི་ཨ་ལོ་ཚུ་ཡང་ ཏེ་ང་བཅས་ར་གདུང་བསམ་པའི་གླུ་གཞས་ཁོ་རེད་ཟེར་མི་འདི་ ཏེ་གདངས་འབད་རུང་ ཚིག་འབད་རུང་ཡང་ འ་ནཱི་བཟུམ་ཅིག་སྡོད་སྡོདཔ་འདྲས་ ཟེར་སླབ་ནི་གི་ ཏེ་ཤུལ་ལས་ བཤུས་ཅིག་ལུས་བཅུག་ཟེར་ ང་གིས་ད་ལྟོ་ གཅིག་ཕུལ་བལྟ་གེ་ཟེར་ཞུ་ནི། ཨིན་རུང་ གོ་ཆོདཔ་ཅིག་འོང་ག་མི་འོང་ག་ ག་ར་ཐུགས་རྗེ་མ་གནང་ཟེར་ཞུ་ནི་ལགས།
    Now when I sing it again, I don't know how I will able to do. Even then it is one of oldest song for my own interest and in order to know by our children in future as our Dungsam's Khoray song as its tune and words like this. Latter on to remain my work done as it is so I will sing a Khoray song just now but not sure of having good one for don't disappointed.

    I am seeing land of the Indian plain without look; I am seeing nyamo olongi dancing.

    Upward way is from the bottom steps; I start from the bottom for not having an enough energy I could not make it.

    Big mountains and ranges of the hills; I see tall in day time and having walks it step by step as it will be our control.

    I will go upward in the small way; I will go I will go upward as there is no end of upward way as named it by whom.

    On the big mountains and ranges of the hills; Two deer, I can see two deer are playing for look up son in law.

    According to the time, I am hearing the sound of pinpi yurung (bird) from top of the tree, as you make a sound don't fly.
