It is claimed that the Alo songs are originated from the eastern part of the country espically in Dungsum region but it is controversial issue because we can also see in Dzongkha verion. The Dungsam verson of Also has shorter tune and the lyrics is sang in Tshangla accent where as Dzongkha version has shorter tune and the lyrics are in Ngalong accent. This local song is normally sung while a person is in great depression or unhappy. It reveals that the author's lover is leaving away and hoping to return back soon rather than his/her flash back expressed through natural elements like sun and shadow where the author wanted to return the sun rather than its shadow. In other example the author wanted to return back the river rather than its bubbles.
