This is a song performed by the Panam Quintet. It is considered antiphonal. In it, women sing, men respond, and there is dancing throughout. There are six verses of antiphonal lines, each followed by a dancing chorus. According to notes taken during its recording, the dancing chorus was a 'spoken shuffle' during which the old women instructed the young men of the Sokhang Quintet. The song could also be designated as belonging to the 'West' song (stod gzhas) genre according to the commentary after the song, which is included in the full recording.
